TORAH CLASS
The Women’s Chodesh Group is a monthly opportunity
to get together with Jewish women of all backgrounds
& ages for an enjoyable Morning of socializing &
animated discussion exploring the role of Judaism in
the life of today’s modern woman.
Rosh Chodesh, which marks the beginning of the new
Jewish month, is traditionally celebrated as a woman’s
holiday.
The women’s roundtable study
group, led by Maryashie Deren,
will delve into the weekly Torah
portion and discuss the relevance
and timely message contained
within the sacred words of the
Parsha. It will also include
practical advice and suggestions
on Jewish homemaking, family
rearing and the pursuit of goals
and aspirations.
