Its old world charm has been carefully blended with the modern needs of the community. Hudson has earned its place on the National Register of Historic Places for its amazing architecture and also for the distinct moments marked in history, which include being a vital link in the Underground Railroad and home to famous abolitionist John Brown. Named after founder David Hudson, the city is home to many art, music, and food & wine events throughout the year. More than 1,100 acres of park land provide ample hiking, biking, fishing, golf, children’s play areas and picnic facilities.
