The size of a guide board is usually big and it is frequently updated. This
project is a pilot program for the multilingual tourist guide to preserve
the landscape of the satoyama and satoumi in Noto area.
Satoyama means a fusion area of farmland and forest. Satoumi means a
coastal area, which has a strong connection with peopleʼs livelihoods.
