ABOUTDEFENDERWORX
E
stablished in 2001, DefenderWorx began its venture as a premium
billet accessory manufacturer for the automotive aftermarket. The
business began with billet products for the Hummer H2 and has
expanded manufacturing into various makes and models of vehicles.
Today, DefenderWorx has expanded their manufacturing products for
Camaro, Mustang, Ford F-150, Raptor, Corvette, Tundra and more. They

SALT-SPRAY TEST
DefenderWorx is dedicated to ensure that the chrome plating on its
parts are the highest quality and have the most durable finish available.
We have aligned ourselves with chrome plating businesses to be GM
validated and consistently pass the stringent GM 4374M 44 hour CASS
test.
Salt is a very effective weapon against snow on the street, but it will
eat through any chrome and into the billet aluminum. When salt mixes
with water from the melted snow, it slops into the standard micro
cracks of chrome and expands when it refreezes, which prys open the
chrome and damages the product’s finish.
4-YEAR WARRANTY
DefenderWorx guarantees to the original purchaser of its products
a 4-year, 36,000 mile warranty, against manufacturer defects in
materials and workmanship under normal use. This warranty does
not include shipping damage, improper maintenance, improper
installation, road hazards, impairments from accidents, product
modifications, or neglect.
This warranty only applies to new products purchased on or after
01/01/2009 and is limited to the repair or replacement (at DefenderWorx option) of DefenderWorx products. This warranty does not
cover shipping costs for return, removal, installation, labor, inconvenience or consequential damages. Original purchases must return
defective material, along with the purchase receipt and RGA number
to the original place of purchase. DefenderWorx is not responsible
for products returned without an RGA number or products not originally purchased from DefenderWorx.
To avoid such damage, apply a coat of sealer wax to your new accessories, and reapply per the wax manufacturer’s suggestion. If you live
on a road salted area or near the ocean, apply a coat of wax every time
you wash your car to provide extra protection from the damaging effects of salt. Over waxing is better than neglecting your chrome.
After direct exposure to salt it is recommended that the chrome be
cleaned and re-waxed as soon as possible.
While we strive for the highest quality, we need your help to maintain
the finish of our parts. Chrome accessories require a little more care
but to enjoy your vehicle’s striking appearance for years to come the
extra effort will be well worth it!
