Innovators not Imitators Offshore Offshore Platform Systems 15-10 Nm Tideland offers world-class offshore platform products made to withstand the harshest of environments. Our offshore platform systems comply with the latest IALA Recommendation O-139 on the Marking of Man-Made Offshore Structures and include the option of a 15Nm navigational light, which is often required by regional authorities. For USA waters, Tideland offshore platform systems are fully compliant with US Coast Guard requirements for Class A, B and C structures. Innovators not Imitators Electronic Navigation Remote Control & Monitoring Tideland offers a satellite monitoring system that provides remote information for important marine AtoN. A small satellite radio is installed in the AtoN, which utilises the Inmarsat I2 and I3 satellites via the IsatM2M. Information such as GPS position, light go/no go, battery voltage and additional data is displayed on any web browser. Warnings are automatically sent if preset values are exceeded. V-20 SRM-2 V-10 Informer™ AIS AtoN The V-Track™ Informer™ is an AIS information provider and remote monitoring system for use on marine AtoN and other structures. Tideland’s Informer™ is available in two options: “Type 1” is a transmit only device, and “Type 3” is a transmit and receive device or optional repeater. For most applications a transmit only device provides the ideal AIS AtoN solution. In addition, Tideland’s Informer™ is capable of broadcasting remote monitoring, meteorological and hydrological data as well as safety and warning messages such as marking under water pipelines. It is an ideal complement to the Tideland Smart Display (TSD), or the AIS web display. Tideland’s Informer™ V-10 fitted inside a self-contained lantern. GSM Monitoring Tideland’s GSM monitoring system comprises a Quad Band GSM/GPRS modem, which is fitted into the equipment. Conditions such as position, battery voltage and, go/no go are monitored together with auxiliary contacts. Commands can also be sent to change power level or flash character if required. Monitoring data is sent via SMS to designated mobile telephones. Google map positions can also be viewed. Options include a full web based system that records data and displays it on Google maps or Google Earth. 6 7 Tideland Engineered Electronic Monitoring Web Display System Tideland utilises new technologies to enhance the performance of traditional AtoN installations. Our web based system is designed to provide access to AtoN products around the world. Proven and tested, our web display system will offer flexibility and reliability unlike any other similar product available in today’s market. New in 2014, Tideland will offer a web display system accessible from around the world. TSD is compliant with ITU-RM 1371-3 standards and has such features as record and replay, warning areas and AIS target filtering. TSD offers a unique concept by allowing the operator to view AIS vessel traffic with the option of integrating and viewing AtoN via AIS message 21. TSD is compatible with Tideland’s NavLink remote monitoring and control system. Innovators not Imitators Electronic Monitoring NavLink - Monitoring and Control Tideland’s NavLink has consistently proven to be a reliable remote monitoring and control management system, with the capacity to handle many aids to navigation (AtoN) data point connections and means to remotely monitor and control the functionality of AtoN products. NavLink is also capable of providing Modbus communication to any SCADA system. Satellite Satellite Direct Connection Radio Radio GPRS/GSM GPRS/GSM Meteorological/Hydrological Data System Tideland offers many different sensors and sensor combinations to meet the unique meteorological and hydrological data requirements. Tideland buoys are used by many companies around the world to provide meteorological and hydrological data around the world and are installed in the most extreme conditions. Transmission of data is accomplished via satellite, VHF or AIS. AIS AtoN messages have the advantage of being received by vessels fitted with Class A AIS. 8 9 Tideland Engineered Self-Contained Lanterns SolaLED L-110, L-120, L-130 Entry 1 to 3Nm Tideland’s L-110, 120 and 130 self-contained lantern options provide a cost effective solution for those requiring 1 to 3Nm lanterns. All lanterns are compact and provide a reliable and low maintenance solution. Ideal uses include small marker buoys, docks, marinas and aquaculture sites. These lanterns are available in all IALA colours. SolaLED Level 3 to 4Nm L-110 Tideland’s SolaLED is a high intensity, selfcontained marine navigation lantern with its own solar power system and battery pack for 3 to 4 nautical mile ranges. It is available with two vertical divergences, narrow and wide up to 7°, making it one of the most sought after self-contained lanterns in the industry. MLED-300 The 10° divergence lens is ideal for fixed or floating aids to navigation while the 20° and 30° lens provides exceptional performance on buoys. The 3° and 5° lens can be used to meet specific needs that require a much longer range while still using a minimal amount of power. Computer designed optics provide ranges up to 8Nm, 7Nm, 6Nm and 5Nm with 5°, 10°, 20° and 30° lenses, respectively, while using only 10W of power. A white 3° version is available at 10Nm. These buoys utilise the same materials and manufacturing technologies as proven deepwater buoys. UV stabilised polyethylene provides rugged, lightweight buoys with exceptional station-keeping, long life and stability. The hulls are foam filled, making the buoys virtually unsinkable. Buoys are available in red, green, yellow, white, black and orange. Optional self-adhesive reflective sheeting provides easy day and night identification. SB-75 SB-60 At 600mm diameter and over 4m long Tideland’s SB-60 is used extensively by many coast guards and port authorities for its excellent performance in severe conditions. Marker Buoys SB-23 Tideland’s SB-23 marker buoy is ideal for aquacultural areas and small channels. Tideland’s SB-75 marker buoy is 750mm in diameter and is available in can or conical shapes. SB-104 Designed for high current rivers. Tideland’s SB-104 buoy is 750mm in diameter and it has three mooring points for varying currents. Lighted and unlighted versions are available. SB-1000 The unique design of Tideland’s SB-1000 buoy allows it to be deployed in a variety of applications that include shallow water, channel edges, rivers up to 4 knots, marinas and harbours. DM-390 Tideland’s DM-390 is 900mm in diameter and can accommodate the Tideland L-120 LED light. It is available in can or conical shapes. NON SLIP SURFACE The top of the hulls are manufactured to provide a slip resistant surface to assist the maintenance engineer when changing lamps or cleaning a lens. TRB-400 TRB-220 Tideland’s TRB-220 is a smaller version of the industry leading TRB-400. Its range is up to 20Nm and it can also be fitted with LEDs to provide over 12Nm. TRB-220 TRB-400 Features: Tideland’s TRB-400 is a stand alone, major lighthouse beacon equipped with uniquely designed injection moulded acrylic lenses. It is AC or DC powered and lends itself to a DC solar power system due to its unique efficiency. With an AC version, ranges of up to 24Nm are possible. Tideland’s SeaBeacon® 2 System 6 is a frequency agile racon, which provides dependable service to all marine radars, including those with modern narrow band receivers. The SeaBeacon® 2 System 6 has unparalleled performance with power saving features and detection capabilities four times greater than most other racons in the current market. It is the choice by many of the world’s coast guards and national navigation authorities. E-Navcon™ The E-Navcon™ combines the SeaBeacon® 2 System 6 with an in-built AIS AtoN transponder to provide the mariner with two forms of electronic signatures, one of which is independent of the GPS network increasing accuracy and redundancy. E-Navcon TM Innovators not Imitators Unitised Systems Fog Signal Stand Alone System AB-560 Tideland’s AB-560 audiobeam fog signal automatically broadcasts a 360° beam of sound to a preselected code audible for 2 miles. It can be operated from mains power using a Tideland battery charger and rechargeable battery, or DC power using a solar panel and battery system. Tideland’s Sola-Chan can be fitted with Tideland’s range of incandescent lamps or LED lanterns. One 12-volt solar module mounts under the lantern by a galvanised steel or marine grade aluminum mounting bracket. Often a power of 10W or 20W is sufficient. Each module is equipped with bird scarers. Normally 1 or 2 105Ah batteries are fitted. Sola-Chan is often used on offshore platforms, bridges and jetties. It is United States Coast Guard approved, complies with all IALA recommendations and is VXLWDEOHIRUXVHLQKD]DUGRXV locations.
