Landscape design for the original residence was by Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr.. Waveny Park is currently owned by the town of New Canaan and is a popular site for cultural and social events, weddings, and recreation. WAVENY PARK CONSERVANCY FOCUS The Conservancy’s focus is on restoring and enhancing the 130 acres of open space surrounding Waveny House.
