Individuals who received a qualifying advanced degree within the preceding two years are eligible to apply and are not required to be norrunated by their school. Presidential Management Fellows participate 1n an ortentation program, receive training and professional development. complete an Individual development plan. are assigned a mentor, and have at least one rotational or developmental assignment This year. the Office of Personnel Management has released a new track specifically for those interested in the fields of science, technology. engineering and mathematics (STEM). As STEM Presidential Management Fe!tows. Individuals engage in meanmgful work on high-visibility federal research and development projects. These assignments will allow PMF's to network with STEM professionals in different fields and locations as well as to travel to locations where innovative STEM personnel solve national problems. Not only can users learn more about the hundreds of agencies and subcomponents that comprise the federal government on the site's A-Z agency index, but they can also find answers to a variety of Frequently Asked Questions about the government. This site provides direct links to each individual agency website so that once students find an agency they are interested in, they can immediately learn more about it and the career opportunities it has available.
