how much have
your lives changed?
Korn: Not at all, apart from
the wonderful feeling
of waking up next to someone special and having
someone to come homc to,
Lek: It's like having someone to play with [laughs].

choose to remain true to ourselves and we don't
pretend.
Korn: If one of us is lazy to go sonbwhcrc,
wc
honestly say so. We don't waste time trying to please
each other.
Lek: People have an expected perception that
newlyweds must be glued to each other, but that's
not us. That is not our reality.
What's the best thing about your other half?
Lek: His heart. He gives his family and everyone

much then he will love his new family the same. It's
an endearing attribute.
Korn: When I am with her, I am completely myself.
I don't have to pretend. It's like we always have our
own little bubble. Before we were married, when
we didn't see each other for some time we could
always pick up right where we had left off after

What do you admire most about each other?
Lek: His high
self-respect. He's a guy who knows
exactly what he wants and he makes it very clear. I
admire that he always manages to have a standpoint.

Korn: With Lek, what you see is what you get. She's
very decisive in her work. Sheos a straightforward
girl in all aspects oflife. She has never been one of
those girls with underlying, doulle-meaning messages
where guys need to excessively analyse. When you
are with her, you don't have to think and reflect on
things too much.
What are some of the differences between
you two?
Lek: I'm an easy-going girl who thrives socially while
Korn is more reserved. I think these two personalities
are a good complement to our relationship, so that
we both don't yap away all the time.
Korn: Lek is an active girl who can't be still for long.
But as for me, I can stay home all day.
What do you guys ffght about?
Korn:
Since the wedding, we haven't fought once
[knocks on wood]o but eventually there will be
fights. When that day comes, we will, of course,
talk with reason.

Do you see a bigger family in the
future? Children?
Korn: We are leaving it up to nature.
Where do you live now?
Korn: Right
now, at my parents'house. We
also have a condominium in Thonglor, which
was given to us by my parents as a wedding
gift. Since we have been married, we have
only spent one night at the condominium

our possessions between three houses - my
house" Lek's house and our rew 0re.
Lek: We went to look at the condominium
together before buying it, but after the
purchase I never took another look until
the day we moved in. I onlv saw its bare
shell and I let Korn decide on all the interior
and decorations. berause I wanled him to
surprise me.
Korn: I {reaked out at first because I was
worried she wouldn't like it. The style that
I settled for is contemporary classic with a
touch of masculinity.
Lek, have you taken up the role of
housewife?
Lek: Oh yes,
I wahe up and cook him
breakfast every morning flaughs]. No! I
am definitely not a housewife. But in the
future, who knows? It could be another
phase in my life because I secretly do want
that at some point.
Korn: I don't erpect her to. I married her
because of her true self. I don't expect her to
wait on me at all.
Tell us sornething we don't already
know about you two.
Korn: She has a girlie, romantic side. She
mahes me handmade cards with photographs
pasted on them for special occasions like my
birthday and Valentine's Day. The latest one
nas for our one-munlh annirersarl,
Lek: Korn can be sharp-tongued, sarcastic and
an expert in swearing. He has a great Britishstyle, dark humour which a lot ofpeople don't get.
What's new in your careers?
Korn: As chief marketing officer of I(PN

I(PN Award. We are currently auditioning
for the new season, which will be aired in
September. The second thing I am looking
after is property development. The Capital's
