CONTACT: JANET FARR 713-784-6622 713-816-1060 [email protected] ! ThermaSteel™ is the Building System for the 21st century ! The ThermaSteel™ System is a unique patented process utilizing the power of composite technology. A structural grade double steel frame with rigid, fire retarding EPS bonded to the steel frame with heat activated adhesive, produces a light weight composite panel that provides structural framing, insulation, and vapor barrier in one fast, high-tech step that will not delaminate. ! ThermaSteel™ Panels are versatile. They are used for roofs, ceilings and floors, as well as interior and exterior walls. Contact: Janet Farr 713-816-1060 ! Everyone! ! Customers who want to build with environmentally friendly “green” products ! Customers who want to lower operational heating and cooling costs in today’s world of ever increasing energy prices ! Customers who want to have a structurally sound building – earthquake, flood and hurricane areas ! Whatever your residential, commercial or industrial building style, ThermaSteel™ building components can meet your construction design needs Contact: Janet Farr 713-816-1060 ! ! ! ! ! ! Made in the USA R-Value exceeds standard walls Environmentally friendly Structural Value exceeds normal construction Insect and mildew resistant The Advantages of ThermaSteel™ are evident during the entire construction process Contact: Janet Farr 713-816-1060 ! ! ! ! Recyclable Lower heating and cooling costs limit the burning of fossil fuels, saves the planet Does not contribute to deforestation and increased greenhouse gasses It would take 100 trees 8.5 inch wide and 20 foot long to build a 1500 square foot home. (Argonne National Laboratory, Division of Educational Programs) ! ! ! It would take the steel from two recycled cars to build a 1500 square foot home using ThermaSteel™ ThermaSteel™ panels are approved for use in all climate regions. They pass the Miami-Dade Hurricane standards, seismic Zone nine in Russia, and European BBA code #1449. In addition to being structurally superior, our panels also meet the Energy Star standards for environmental conservation. They are fire and pest resistant, and offer many construction advantages. Meets strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the US dept of energy Contact: Janet Farr 713-816-1060 ! ! ! ! Fewer labor costs Saves 50% to 75% on heating and cooling operational costs Lower construction costs as compared to wood, brick and block, concrete construction, SIP, and ICF EPS is the best insulation Contact: Janet Farr 713-816-106 FINISHED WALL COST COMPARISIONS Typical Single Family Residence Elements Cost of Exterior SF pf walls installed ThermaSteel 5 1/2" 24ga Stick Frame 2x6 Steel Frame Lt Gauge Steel ICF SIP 8" CMU "Hollow Block" $5.33 $5.16 $6.36 $16.00 $7.04 $11.25 33 13.7 13.3 38 30 11 $5.33 $5.16 $6.36 $16.00 $7.04 $11.25 6.19 2.65 2.09 2.38 4.26 1.36 Includes required installation Sheathing & Vapor barrier Headers Wall Furring Labor for Installation Standard Openings No roofing elements included Effective R-Value Approximate Total Installed Cost ** Price Performance Ratios The higher the ratio the better the system Price Performance Ratio relates the cost of the installed systems to the effective R-Value and speed of constriction. ThermaSteel™ is the fastest system available and does not require a crane. First time to use ThermaSteel™ -5 men installed 234 linear feet of 9' insulated wall panels in 7 hours Weight also plays a important factor in the structure. ThermaSteel™ has a very high strength to weight ratio. Note: Custom homes may be higher Prices may vary due to labor cost in your area. ! ! ! ! ! ! Insect (termite), mildew and fire retardant Hurricane and earthquake resistant Flat straight walls and ceilings that prove the test of time ThermaSteel™ Panels are lightweight and easy to install. A 10-foot panel weighs about 40 to 60 pounds and can be carried and installed by one or two people ThermaSteel™ exceeds the national standards for strength in building materials No sheathing, vapor barrier or insulation necessary eliminating 3 steps in traditional framing Contact: Janet Farr 713-816-1060 • Each panel has a steel overlap strip along the vertical edge at the outside face which overlaps the edge of the next panel approximately ¾’ when set in place. This overlap strip serves as a point of attachment between panels using No. 8 ” self-tapping screws @ 12” O.C. • The wall panels are placed in a No.16 or No.18 gauge steel channel. • After the walls are erected, No.16, No.18 or No.20 gauge steel channels are attached as top tracks. • The metal channels are bolted to the foundation. Panels are secured in place by screwing through the channel and into the panel. • If necessary, typical X-bracings; metal columns and beams; lintels and headers; and any other metal reinforcement, can be added to the system. • Roof panels are set and attached together to bear on roof beams, trusses or bearing wall plates. ThermaSteel™ will work with your customized blueprints to construct a unique home to your specifications. ThermaSteel™ materials can be shaped to accommodate creatively designed doors, windows and skylights. All traditional exterior materials work with the ThermaSteel™ system. Thermasteel™ has the strength to support a variety of roofing materials. Contact: Janet Farr 713-816-1060
