The Eagle Soar G.T. Woods Elementary Happy Fall! A lot has been happening at Woods during the first quarter of the school year: Grandparents’ Celebration Family Literacy Program —- “Honoring Our Past, Inventing Our Future” was the theme of this year’s grandparents’ day. Students treated their grandparents to a fashion show along with sharing their favorite books with them. A great time was had by all! EAGLES SOAR! Stay Safe Offer kind words and actions Act Responsibly Respect everyone and everything Parent Conference Day — This was the largest turnout we have had for report card conferences. More than 75% of parents came to meet with teachers to discuss their children’s progress. Report cards may be picked up in the office if you have not received it yet. The next parent conference is January 9, 2014. Fall Fest — Once again, we had another successful Fall Fest celebration! Our students enjoyed themselves immensely. Thank you to the Fall Fest Committee Members for all of their hard work in planning and facilitating this event. We also want to thank all of our parents, family members, and community partners from St. Matthews Church who volunteered to make this a wonderful experience for our students.
