I had the pleasure to taste the 100 year old
Commandaria found at a clay pot (pithari) at Kornos
Village at Archontiko Papadopoulou and I was
impressed by its dark brown colour (almost black)
distinct aromas (i.e. honey, fig, raisins, walnut, coffee,
caramel, cinnamon, clove and carob) and unique taste

indeed a lifetime experience that I will never forget.
