Indoor Venue Details
Prairie and Pioneer Rooms
The Pioneer and Prairie rooms share a private foyer and are separated by a
sound resistant divider. Each room is spacious and ideal for small to medium
celebrations. Need something bigger? These two rooms combine into one
banquet hall (nearly 2000sq.ft) to accommodate larger receptions. They also
share an outdoor patio.
Alpine Room
The Alpine Room can accommodate up to 20 guests. The view of the mountains
from the second story window make it perfect for small ceremonies, cocktail hour
and appetizers, or even as a dressing room for the bridal party.

Outdoor Venue Details

Beargrass Aisle
Located on the grounds of Waterton Lakes Lodge Resort, the Beargrass Aisle can
seat up to 140 guests. With Crandell and Bertha mountains in the background,
this is a magical setting for your outdoor ceremony.
Mountain View Patio
Situated off the upper level of Vimy’s Lounge & Grill; the Mountain View Patio
has glass side enclosures to protect against wind and allow unobstructed views
of the mountains surrounding the area. It is an intimate and spectacular space
for groups of 20 or less. (Please note: there is limited availability)
Lower Patio
The Lower Patio is located outside the banquet rooms at Waterton Lakes Lodge
Resort, fenced for your privacy and enjoyment. This location can accommodate
up to 50 guests.

A converted school house with recent renovations, the WCC is a great alternative venue with 3 individual room options. Due to its
close proximity, we are able to cater the event and/or provide wait/bar staff with ease. Linens and decorations are not provided, but

Food and Beverage Information
Catering
Each year we create a special menu to cater functions with a
buffet style or plated dinner service. We are also happy to
customize a menu unique to your group. An 18% gratuity, and
5% GST will be added to all food and beverage services.

Alternative Dining Option
Vimy’s Lounge and Grill
Vimy’s Lounge and Grill is one of Waterton’s
best fine dining options. It is located in the main
facility and offers delectable breakfast, lunch and
dinner options. With a lounge on the main floor
and second level dining room, Vimy’s is a great
gathering point to meet with your colleagues and
friends. The second level dining room has large
windows which allows for a beautiful view of
the mountain scenery. The lounge offers a cozy
and relaxing option with fireplace and big screen
televisions at the bar.

Banquet Policies
Food and Beverage
Our Executive Chef has created delicious menu options for you and your guests to enjoy on your big day! If you have your heart set
on something in particular, we are happy to tailor a menu just for you. Off-site catering is also available, extra charges may apply.
Deposits
A minimum deposit amount of $500 is required at the time of booking to guarantee venue and meal reservations. All rates are valid
for the current year and are subject to change in the future.
Bar Service
Host Bar: all beverages are paid by the host
Cash Bar: Each guest pays for their individual drink upon ordering
Twoonie Bar: Guests pay $2 per drink; all twoonies collected are subtracted from master bill (paid by host)
Because of the rooms’ close proximity to our lounge, a bar set-up in the function room isn’t necessarily required. However, if you
prefer to have one, there is a bartender’s fee of $150.00.
Wedding Cake
Please make your own arrangements for delivery of the wedding cake. We ask that delivery details are provided to our Event
Coordinator in a timely manner so that we can arrange for appropriate storage. There will be a mandatory fee of $1.50 per person
for cutting, plating and serving. There is no charge for cupcakes.
Chair Covers
We can provide white chair covers at a cost of $2.50 each. You are able to bring in your own chair covers or colour sashes to add to
the in-house covers. If you choose to bring your own chair covers, there will be a set-up fee of $1.00/chair cover. There is no charge
if you choose to put them on and take them off yourself.
Flowers
Please arrange delivery of your flowers to the Waterton Lakes Lodge Resort, and ensure they are properly labeled. Waterton Lakes
Lodge Resort can provide climated storage.
Decorating
Most wedding groups prefer to do the decorating themselves. We ask that you coordinate the set-up and clean-up in advance to
ensure there isn’t a conflict with another booking before or after your event, however if you would like us to decorate for you, we
are happy to do so. Extra charges may apply. Confetti or rice is not permitted.
Audio/Visual
You are responsible for booking your own entertainment (such as a DJ or live band) and/or all necessary equipment.
Children
Children under the age of 13 will be served half portions for plated service, and be charged at 70% price, upon request.

Accommodation

Waterton Lakes Lodge Resort
Waterton Lakes Lodge Resort is located in the heart of Waterton Park. It
features all the amenities you’ve come to expect when travelling: Wi-Fi access,
luxurious down duvets, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, television, etc.
Our standard rooms are comfortable and well decorated, while the deluxe suites
feature a gas fireplace and jetted tub. Other room types include: full kitchen,
kitchenette and a 3 bedroom suite with full kitchen and living area. Pet friendly
rooms are available at a cost of $20 per pet, per night.
Crandell Mountain Lodge Only open May-October
Designated a Charming Inn of Alberta, Crandell Mountain Lodge is a rustic and
quaint property that, with no telephones and few TV channels, feels like a true
getaway. Guests receive complimentary use of the outdoor BBQ and access
to Waterton Lake Lodge Resort’s Recreation Center. Choose from standard,
deluxe, kitchenette, or the “Bear’s Den” that has a king size bed, fireplace and
in-room jetted tub; it’s a favourite among our guests.
Aspen Village Only open May-October
From business class to budget conscious, the Aspen Village offers 3 selections
of hotel accommodation on one property. The Windflower at Aspen Village,
newly renovated motel rooms; The Aspen, deluxe suites; and The Cottages at
Aspen Village, a community of individual guest cabins surrounding a small
playground area, green space and BBQ pit. Access to Waterton Lake Lodge
Resort’s Recreation Center is also included.
There are 2 options available when booking hotel rooms for your guests or attendees:
Preassigned Rooms
You decide the number of rooms and room type (ex. standard double queen) needed for each member of your
party. You then assign names to the corresponding room and send us the information, this document is called a
rooming list. We will then make the reservations and send you a confirmation. A deposit is required.
Room Blocks
We will block your desired amount and type of rooms for a specified time period leading up to the event. We will
provide you with a list, detailing these rooms, which you can forward to your guests so that they may make their
own reservations. A one night stay deposit amount is required at the time of booking for each individual room.

Honeymoon Suites
Aspen Village Room 61
The newly renovated Room 61 Suite features a large
living area with a sofa, flat screen television, gas
fireplace, and work station. The bathroom has a large
jetted tub, vanity, and beautiful tiling, along with an
additional outer vanity. The private bedroom will
house you in comfort with a king sized bed, sitting
area, and an additional flat screen television.
Crandell Mountain Lodge Bears Den
The Bears Den is a cozy, romantic cabin style suite featuring a king sized bed,
gas fireplace, two person jetted tub, and country style furniture. This suite is
perfect for ultimate relaxation in the heart of Waterton Lakes National Park.
Waterton Lakes Lodge Deluxe King
The Lodge Deluxe rooms are decorated with a warm,
outdoors feeling. Cozy up next to the gas fireplace,
enjoy the large walk in shower or relax in the two
person jetted tub. These rooms offer a night of luxury
while maintaining a charming back country appeal.
