1 A Tour of the Display
1.1 At a Glance of the Display
Thank you for purchasing the DynaScan Display, a patented revolutionary 360-degree
true-color LED Display and has acquired proprietary patents in USA, Japan, China and Taiwan.
The display is designed as a multi-media display, which supports and synchronizes the video
from TV, VCD, DVD, CCD cameras, camcorders, the Internet, etc., through the ISC Box.
The display is cylindrical display, an optimum medium for information broadcasting. It is
able to work at all kinds of weather conditions from 40℃ to minus 20℃. The one of a kind and
attractive drum shape display screen make it an absolute focus in public area. The 360
degrees display screen with three frames will easily draw the instant attentions of passersby
from all sides achieving maximum broadcasting effects. People will not only give a glance at
the broadcasting content and go any more. Instead the mesmeric picture created by the
corporate effect of its true color, high brightness and far better resolution along with its 360
degrees broadcasting would definitely retain passersby’ eyes on the display screen.
These distinguish the display from a conventional one-way flat display panel. As for
conventional flat display panels, viewers can merely view the broadcasting content in front of
the display panel. As a result, DynaScan Display creates larger viewing area for audiences
and increases the variety of broadcasting effectiveness and the sense of modernization to its
surroundings due to its creative and revolutionary design.

1.2 Product Features
Cost performance
It utilizes fewer LEDs, and consumes less operation power. Significant saving of maintenance
cost due to this technology. The DynaScan shows incredibly greater performance at VGA,
XGA, and level of HDTV.
Real pixel
Unlike conventional display which red, blue and green color elements are separated, the
DynaScan's flying red green and blue LEDs are turned on right at the same spot to create an
effective pixel which makes the image perfectly crispy.
Perfect pitch
Crisp and vivid images remain for any viewing distance and guarantee authentic video quality
even for spectators close to the display.
Ultimate uniformity & true color
All flying LEDs are calibrated using proprietary correction technology to ensure color
uniformity across the entire screen and display 16.7 million distinct true colors.
Easy installation and quick servicing
The state-of-the-art mechanical design and unique software control contribute to decrease of
components and weight, and make DynaScan easier to install, quick to service.

1.3 Connectable External Multimedia Devices
The DynaScan LED Display employs cutting-edge video transmission technology and
hence presents its high compatibility. Linked to the ISC, the DynaScan LED display receives a
variety of input signals such as TV signal and the signal from DVD, VCD, VHS & Beta VCRs,
Video Cameras, Digital Cameras, Internet streams, satellite and cable TVs to render text,
information, graphics animation, or relay live show and instant relay.

2 Hardware
2.1 Hardware
360º LED Display
The 360 degrees screen is constructed with robust
skeleton through the precise culculation and careful
design to ensurr the most sophisticated performance.
LED Module
The LED module is design through precise
positioning and calibration to each LED so as to make
the pixel size of it as fine as possible.
Main Board
The main board controls on and off timing of the LED
modules and processes the video signals transmitted
from the PC.

5
Thermal sensors Board
The Board will send the thermal sensors info to DVI
Board.
DC/DC Converter
It provides power with each module inside the spinning
screen. The input power of DC/DC converter is DC360
± 20V, which is provided by AC/DC converter. There
are two types of DC/DC. They are DC 5V and DC
6.5V. The LED modules works under DC 5V and 6.5V
and the main board DC 5V.
Cooler System Monitor Board
The board will detect the abnormal singles and
transmit them to DVI Board.
Encoder
The encoder provides the data of the drum screen’s
position to the main board by using optical positioning
theory.

6
Thermal Sensor
If the temperature of the screen compartment is
lower than 0℃ when initially start, the display
will start heating it. At this time, the display will
stop few minutes. This is normal condition. If the
temperature of the base is higher than the preset
tolerable point, the sensor will send a warning
signal to Monitor System and a warning message
will be shown on the screen. Then the display will
be shut down temporarily.
DVI Board
DVI Port
485 Connector
It processes the video signals from the PC. The
monitor system V2.0 monitors the status of the
display and controls the display through it. DVI
board will transmit the processed video signals to
rotating connector and then to the main board.
Rotating
Connector Port
AC/DC Converter
The AC/DC converter functions as the power
supply of the display. Most components of the
display consume DC but the power source
supplies AC. So AC/DC converter can convert AC
to DC to make the display operate.
Inverter
It controls the spin speed of the motor and can
detect the abnormal status about it. Otherwise, it
converts fixed frequency and fixed voltages to
variable frequency and voltage so as to enable the
motor to spin stably.

7
Rotating Connector
Carrying signals and power from stationary wires into the
rotating devices is their main function.
Giga Fiber Transmitter
Video signals coming from the PC will send to Giga Fiber
transmitter and Giga Fiber will convert the video signals to
optic signals. The optic signals will be sent to Giga Fiber
receiver.
Giga Fiber Receiver
As soon as the optic signals sent from Giga Fiber transmitter
arrive, the Giga Fiber receiver will convert the optic signals to
DVI signal and then the DVI signals will be sent to rotating
connector. It can also control the on/off of the power switch
and detect any abnormal operations.

Warning:The display’s bottom is a hexangular compartment. Of the six sides, five serve
ventilation purposes as indicated above. When you lay out the lower decoration for the base, the six
sides must be separated completely and sealed completely from the others to prevent the cool and
the hot air from mixing and take in the base again.
The vent of the decoration located around the hot air exhaust on the bottom of the display body
should be able to vent the minimum airflow rate of 200 M3/min (About 7100 CFM)。
The part of the decoration located opposite to the cool air in-flow vent should leave a minimum air
intake of 4 M2。
If you prefer not to or unable to install heat dissipation fans on the decoration, please at least leave a
1.5 M2 ventilation at each side of the hexangular base.
