beautytek avita uses the new TFR method
(technical fat reduction). It targets particularly obstinate fat deposits and diet-resistant
fat stores which cannot be reduced by
sport or diet. In this way, fat deposits can be
selectively removed.
TFR (stable cavitation) is a physical
phenomenon which only occurs under
particular conditions. Only when sound and
overlapping pressure waves act upon the fat
cells in a harmonised interaction, can these
be dissolved. The so-called stable cavitation (subharmonic frequencies) is created
and the titanium alloy of beautytek avita’s
treatment head (which was specially developed for this purpose) makes it possible to
transmit shock and sound frequency waves
into the tissue.
■ Dissolving the Fat Cells
The unique TFR method enables selective
dissolution of the fat cells with simultaneous
protection of the other tissue. With a combination of sound, pressure and resonance
waves, an alternation between high and
low pressure in quick succession is built up
in the fat cells. Due to the quick pressure
changes, small vesicles are created in the fat
cells which are only a few thousandths of a
millimetre in size. In the low pressure phase,
the vesicles collapse and the fat cell membrane becomes permeable. The fat flows into
the surrounding tissue and mixes with the
tissue fluid. A finely dispersed emulsion is
formed, which is quickly removed by the
lymphatic system and is introduced into the
body’s natural metabolic process, dissipated
and excreted.
Lymph drainage and lots of exercise speed
up the quick removal of the fat cell content
by means of the vascular system and also
support the decomposition and conversion
thereof in the organs. The cell fragments of
the fat cells are also removed by the body’s
own natural processes.
■ Non-invasive and pain-free
Treatment with beautytek avita is very quick,
non-invasive and pain-free. One session takes
about an hour. If necessary, it can be repeated after a week. The number of treatments
needed is dependent upon the size and position of the fat depots. Practical experience
has shown that generally four treatments are
needed in order to reduce the treated sites
by a dress size.
During the TFR method, a cavitation sound
is created which is transmitted in the form of
sound waves through the body, this is audible
during the treatment and is the feature of a
protective cavitation method. Other tissue
and organs, as well as blood vessels, retain
their functionality due to the selectivity of
the TFR method.
The advantage of TFR is that not only larger
areas, but also small fat depots can be
removed for which liposuction would either
not be suitable or would mean too large
a surgical procedure and therefore a high
operation risk.
■ Problem-free Treatment
Initially, there is a personal discussion with
the client where the client’s wishes and data
are recorded, ideas discussed, the method explained and treatment possibilities presented.
The areas of the body to be treated are then
marked and the actual condition before the
treatment is photographically documented.
The marked zones are treated one after the
other with the beautytek avita sound head.
Through the gentle stroking over the areas to
be treated, it is possible to actually form the
body. Surplus fat deposits disappear and this
is why this process is also called ‘body sculpturing’ (body forming). After the completion
of the treatment, the result is photographically documented and, if necessary, a followup appointment arranged.
The clients can continue with their normal
day straight after the treatment.

beautytek avita can support cosmetic
surgeons during liposuction. To facilitate
the liposuction, he or she can treat the tissue
which needs to be extracted with beautytek
avita in order to achieve liquidation of the
fat. Permanent fat cells are liquidated as long
as the treatment head is emitting energy into
the tissue. beautytek avita is the ideal tool
with which to deliver a perfect cosmetic result
– without side-effects. In combination with
lymph drainage (for example with beautytek Premium) and/or physiological saline
solution, the cavitation effect can actually be

The skin, the largest human organ, is exposed
to various natural and artificial influences
such as sunlight or smoking. These can rapidly accelerate the normal skin-ageing process.
The skin already starts to age after the age of
twenty, depending on hereditary disposition

Hyaluronic acid (a polysaccharide) is present
as a natural molecule in the body (skin, joints,

■ The Method
With beautytek light, the specially developed
“Pure Hyaluron” is firstly prepared on the
skin’s surface so that it can permeate the skin
without injection. To conclude, the beautytek
light energy stabilises the “Pure Hyaluron”
in the skin and creates a depot. The perfect
bio-equivalent preparation of the skin is
optimally carried out with the unique and
time-proven beautytek Premium method.
Thus beautytek light is not only available as
a stand-alone device, but also as an inbuilt
device for the beautytek Premium system.

3 handpieces (all with precision-ground Schott glass filter) cover the complete indication range. By means of special, patented water filters, all wavelengths above 950
nm are filtered out, so that the appliance does not emit any unnecessary or harmful
wavelengths. This guarantees that only those wavelengths are applied which produce
the desired effect, and side effects are minimised.

Technology
In the specially developed ITPL technology, a handpiece is used to
apply energy packages – so-called “trains” or micro-pulses – to the
treatment area. Every “shot” from the handpiece consists of several
separate micro-pulses delivered one after the other like the carriages
of a train. The number and length of the micro-pulses and the intervals between the successive micro-pulses can be set individually. This
guarantees maximum effectiveness, and is also kind to the skin.

Working principle
The working principle of beautytek ITPL is selective photothermolysis. The operation of the appliance is very easy and safe thanks to the pre-programmed settings for
energy and treatment duration: simply specify the hair type, and depending on the
treatment, the hair type or blood vessel type. The programme then automatically sets
the recommended energy and treatment duration. Experienced users can also vary
the settings individually.
The energy is now split up into packages, like a train consisting of a series of carriages. This division of the energy has the advantage that in the intervals between the
“train carriages” the skin cools down and relaxes more quickly than hair or blood
vessels, because these lose heat more slowly. This characteristic is referred to as thermokinetic selectivity. This is the requirement for the most effective treatment results
possible. beautytek ITPL takes advantage of this phenomenon and by this means
can, as one of the few appliances worldwide, develop its full effect with maximum
effectiveness and kindness to the skin. By splitting the energy into successive micropulses following quickly on each other, beautytek ITPL can make the best possible
use of this thermokinetic selectivity.
