We hope this information will be helpful
in answering questions when planning for your special day.
Waterfront Beach Ceremony
The fee for a waterfront beach ceremony including chairs, runners and bows - *$1,500
Room
The fee for a four (4) hour evening reception (minimum 125 guests); four (4) hour day reception (minimum 100 guests) in
our Chesapeake Ballroom (seats 100 to 250 guests) - $2,500
or our Bay View Room, located upstairs (seats 50 to 100 guests) - $1,500
Reception Time
Our facility can accommodate two ceremonies and two receptions each day! Wedding Receptions run for four (4) hours.
The Daytime Ceremony may begin as early as 10 AM and Reception may run from 11 AM and must conclude by 3 PM.
The Afternoon/Evening Reception may begin starting at 6 PM and must conclude by 11 PM. With prior approval, for an
additional charge of $1,000/hour Receptions may exceed the four hour period.
Taxes and Service Charge
All prices are subject to a 20% service charge on food and beverage only.
6% Maryland Sales Tax will be added to food, beverage and other applicable charges.
Guarantee
Final payment and exact guarantee is required fourteen (14) business days prior to your event. Your guarantee guest count
is considered your final guarantee and is not subject to a reduction. If attendance exceeds the guarantee, payment by credit
card or cash is required prior to departure.
Payment
A non-refundable deposit fee of room charge of (Chesapeake Ballroom-$2,500/Bay View Room-$1,500) and if applicable,
the ceremony charge of $1,500 is required to secure the date. A payment of 50% of estimated bill is required six months
(180 days) prior to the event. All deposits and payments are non-refundable. A full payment by credit card (MasterCard/
Visa/American Express/Discover) check or cash is necessary with your guarantee fourteen (14) days before the wedding
ceremony/reception date.
Outside Food and Beverage
No food or alcoholic beverages may be brought into the reception as exclusively the Rod N Reel Restaurant provides this
service. The restaurant cannot permit any food or beverage to be taken from the reception in accordance with health and
sanitation policies.
Rehearsal Dinners and Bridal Showers
We can do it all…Let us know if there are any other functions associated with your wedding day that we can help you with.
Even if you’re not having your reception with us we’ll be happy to be of service.
Parking
The Chesapeake Beach Resort and Spa provides complimentary valet parking.
Special Reduction Pricing
Ceremony/Ballroom Costs: During April through December, a 25% price reduction is applied Monday through Thursday.
During the months of January, February and March a 25% price reduction is applied to any day of the week.
Food Costs: During the months of April through December, a 10% price reduction is applied Monday through Thursday.
During the months of January, February and March, a 10% price reduction is applied to any day of the week.

Guest Rooms
If you are having your reception at the resort and wish to provide your guests with lodging
accommodations, please contact the Wedding Sales Department at 410-257-2735,
extension 137 or 149 for arrangements.
We provide a complimentary guest room for the bride and groom the evening of their reception.
The maximum number of rooms per night per block is 20.
When contacting the reservation department, each guest should request the name and the date of the
wedding block.
Wedding Block cutoff date 60 days prior to arrival. After this time, any rooms which have not been
reserved under the block will be released into the general inventory of the hotel and no longer be
available under the block.
When your guests contact us to make their room reservation, they will be required to provide payment
for the full stay and will be charged at that time. A 72 hour cancellation for individual reservations is
required in order to receive return of deposit.
Check-in time is after 3PM and check-out time is by 11AM. Please make reservations based on the
amount of time required to prepare for your event and for your departure (an additional evening prior
to or after your event may be advisable according to the time of your function).
