‘Discovering One’s Own Self’
On 2nd January 2016 a Workshop was conducted by Ms. Kavita
Chhabra for RKK faculty. The theme of the workshop was
‘Discovering One’s Own Self’– ‘Introspection’ and ‘Developing Life
Skills’ among student community. She gave ideas to tackle
emotions like anger, peer pressure, depression, frustration,
classroom challenges and focused on bridging the generation gap
which proved to be a good learning experience for everyone.
International Young Round Square Conference was organized at Daly College,
Indore from 4th-10th Jan. 2016. Rajesvi Deora,Samiha Gambhir, Natanya Gupta, Madhurima Rathore, Kaveena
Maheshwari, Kirti Bhati represented RKK. They were the part of the Barazza & Ice-breaking Sessions, Visual &
Performing Arts Workshops, address of the Keynote Speakers, Cultural Evening, DJ, Art Fair, visit to Mandu and
Historical Monuments, Bird Watching, Indian Carnival, Kathakali Performances and Rikka by Mr. Rod Fraser.

Under the Round Square ‘Service’ Pillar, students of Class – 9th took the initiative to visit Aastha Old Age Home
on 9th Jan 2016 along with AFS host students Julia & Silvia who visited the elderly and tried to bring smiles on their
faces. The students also visited the Love-Kush Orphanage and spent some memorable time with the little, deprived
souls.

Two Orientation Sessions were
conducted on 8th January for
US Trip and on 11th January
2016 for Singapore Trip .
RKK has always been active in providing
such experiences to its children and is
always working towards it. The school has
been meticulously planning trips for its
students of Classes VII to XI. These trips
will commence during the months of March
and May 2016.
It aims to provide the
students adventure, knowledge, experience
different
cultures
along
with
learning.

Special Assembly
Lohri Celebration
To celebrate the occasion of Lohri, a Special
Assembly was conducted on 22nd January 2016
by the students of Class I who danced
marvellously on “Chappa Chappa Charkha Chale”
and sang beautifully enthralling the audience with
the famous Lohri song “Sunder Mundriye”.
A
workshop was conducted by Mr. Shaurya
Upadhyay of the prestigious DAIS Organization from
22nd to 24th January 2016 to refine the oratory skills,

debating and public speaking skills of the young RKKians.
Orientation Session
An Orientation Session was held at RKK in the esteemed presence of Mr Tarun Shekhawat associated with
‘The
The Chopras’
Chopras’ for the Senior Secondary students aspiring to study in India and overseas. The session proved to be
very helpful for the aspiring young scholars.

Republic Day Celebration
The
67th
Republic
Day was
celebrated
with
enthusiasm. The students of classes I to V presented foot
tapping dance numbers, sang melodious group songs
evoking the feeling of pride for the nation. The Junior
School Orchestra and Choir presented patriotic songs
filled with love for the nation. The dance performance on
skates
left
the
audience
spell
bound.
Educational Trip to Arna Jharna
On 16th January,
January, Class IX visited “Arna

got an opportunity to see the Museum of Musical instruments, The Puppet Museum, Puppet Show, Broom Museum,
Pottery Workshop, a Cultural Show performed by the Langa and Manganiyar community. They experienced the
beautiful
flora
and
fauna
and
enjoyed
the
fun
filled
Rock
Climbing.
Farewell Ceremony
The Farewell
Farewell Ceremony was held on 15th January 2016. The elegant and dazzling beauties of Class XII
adorned the premises with their presence on the cold winter night spreading warmth with their beautiful and radiant
smile. The programme started with welcome speech of Deepika Singhal followed by the Citation ceremony. The short
videos directed and produced by the students, the rocking Jazz performance, mesmerizing choir, Kathak over
Shakeera's 'empire' by Class XI students was applaud able. 21 different titles were conferred upon the charming
young Rkkians. The Principal, Mrs Neera Singh's blessed the 2015-16 batch with her words of wisdom. The starry
night became even more alive with the DJ and photography.
