Pacifico comments on the project:
The new EP just all fell into place. i had no songs
written until about two months ago. garrison and i
were on the road and we had a house concert in
Kansas City get canceled last minute, so we decided
to write that day. we came up with two tunes in a
day and a half and all i wanted to do was get them
released.
so, Kit and i had been playing some
random gigs together and getting to know each other
and one day he suggested we make a record. i said i
had the two new tunes with G and some others that
were half done. he and i finished two of them and
then Stephen kellogg and i got together and wrote
one day. so there was the fifth tune. Kit got the
players together and the studio time and off we went.
that dude is a genius. i'm so glad we both met each
other when we did. it's all about timing and right
when the sixers took a break. it all really just naturally, easily and stress free-ly
all fell into place. and fast too. all because Kit is so organized and spent so
much time with me in pre-production. i can't say enough good things about the
guy. he's unreal.
the new sound is just more current, really. i had a bit of a dated sound on my
last records and Kit really is giving it a today vibe, for sure. all the co-writes
help too. that's my main focus now. it's really a gift to sit down with someone
and create together. and Kit brought in Chip from The Alternate Routes to play
bass and electrics, Tim Walsh on drums and Kit played tons of keys. i'm so
psyched for this one. just because how naturally it all happened. i had no
intention at all of releasing anything this year. and i didn't really decide to
release anything, i kinda just followed it. this one is special.

even earned the admiration of club owners
across the U.S. In Nashville, Jaime Scorby of

The Bluebird. He is one of the only people (if
not THE only person) we have booked directly
into a round based on the strength of his
online press kit.”

Sweet,” with some classic rock influences thrown in for good measure. His songs feel

with Crosby, Stills & Nash, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sugarland, Hank Williams Jr., Levon Helm,
Leon Russell, Bob Weir & Ratdog, The Wailers, The Low Anthem, Donavon Frankenreiter,
Dar Williams, Guster, moe., Ryan Shaw, and Sean Kelly of The Samples. His trademark
brand of warm, inviting, hook-filled songs, the themes of love and survival, redemption
