TV Viewer / Grabber PC
Quick Start Guide
Before you begin:
DO NOT PLUG IN THE VIDEO GRABBER PC TO YOUR COMPUTER YET !
Check to ensure your computer has the following:
PC computer with Windows 7, Vista or XP (32 or 64 bit)
At least 20 GB of Free Hard disc space recommended

Install the software
A. Make sure the TV Viewer / Grabber PC is NOT plugged to the computer. Then insert the
included CD. If the installation does not start automatically, please go to the CD directory
and click the application “setup.exe”.
B. On the first screen check the
selections for “Presto PVR” and
“Install Driver” then click “Install”
C. Follow the on-screen instructions:
- Accept the agreement
- Then enter the your name and company (if
applicable) along with the Serial number from the
front of the CD ROM sleeve.
- After the software installation is completed click
“Finish”.
D. After Software installation the “Install Driver” screen will appear automatically. Follow the steps below exactly:
IMPORTANT: Plug in
the TV Viewer Dongle
FIRST.
The Hardware Wizard will launch:
Select: “No not this time”
And “Cancel”
NOTE: If you see Windows error messages
ignore these and proceed to the next step.
Then press “Install
Driver” on the
Installation window.
The driver will be
installed
2 Make your connections
A. Connect the antenna
or cable connector to the
TV Viewer Grabber PC
portable antenna
cable connector to
cable box or roof antenna

Launch Presto! PVR
A. On the PC Desktop click the “Presto PVR” Icon or go to the programs menu and select Presto PVR
B. Select the TV System you wish to
view:
- Analog TV (NTSC)
- Digital TV (ATSC)
- Digital TV (ATSC QAM) from
cable provider
C. Select the device as: “Auvitek
Dongle Digital Tuner”, and click
“Next”
D. Choose your country and then select “SCAN” .
The software will automatically create a channel list of
the stations that are available. NOTE: this process may
take several minutes to complete.
E. Once the scan is completed you may start watching and
recording Television on your PC.
Click on the “?” icon on the Control interface for complete
instructions on using the Presto! PVR Software.
