These high definition textures are showcased beautifully in these stain options: Nantucket Grey and Dark Amber. The appearance of these doors is intended to be rustic, and therefore the wood is heavily textured with knots, occasional holes and/or distress and machine marks. The barn wood finish can be irregular in stain and appearance. See pages 10-23 for the Barn Door Series. 4 Birch Wood PREMIUM WOOD OPTIONS Birch Wood Birch wood has a creamy white sap wood with some golden brown flame patterns and has a warm and pleasing appearance. It has a fine, uniform texture with closed pores. Birch wood is strong and is a very stable wood with beautiful grain patterns that highlight any stain color or provide a great surface for paint finishes. See pages 24-33 for the BarnCraft Contemporary Door Series. www.glasscraft.com | BarnCraft by GlassCraft | 5 Mahogany PREMIUM WOOD OPTIONS Mahogany Mahogany hardwood varies from rich golden to deep red brown colors and has a straight to wavy even graining that has a beautiful sheen when finished. Available in Traditional Finish which features the natural beauty of the Mahogany wood grains, Distressed Finish with deep rich antique patina and added textures for a beautiful distressed look, and Antique Finish with similar deep rich patina, but without the added distressed surfacing. Also offered with paint finish options. See pages 34-41 for the BarnCraft 2 Panel Door Series and pages 42-47 for the BarnCraft True Divided Lite Series. 6 Knotty Alder PREMIUM WOOD OPTIONS Knotty Alder Knotty Alder is an American hardwood, growing in the west from CA to northern AL. Knotty Alder exudes rustic charm and features a “closed pore” grain that has a beautiful finish when stained and sealed. Available in Traditional Finish which features the natural alder wood surface textures, Distressed Finish with the deep luxurious patina and enhanced pits, cracks, scores, and wormholes, and the Antique Finish without the distressed patterns. This will allow the door to cover the frame opening when the door is fully closed. A Determine the minimum door height: To determine the minimum door height, measure between the finished floor and the frame, then subtract ½” for floor clearance from the bottom of the door (B - 1/2” = minimum door height). Door may cover the top trim if desired. B Check for minimum door clearance: C A minimum clearance of 6½” (C) is required from the top of the door to the ceiling, to accommodate the track and rolling hardware. The top of the door should be level or above the frame opening.
