Original mode of transportation
Founded April 1, 1922 with 20 motorcycles
Patrolled on WWI surplus HD motorcycles
1925 we gradually transitioned to squad cars
Motorcycle patrol discontinued in 1949
Reintroduced in 1992 with 15 motor officers on
Kawasaki Kz1000 police motorcycles
1993 added 15 more motor officers
1994 transitioned back to Harley Davidson units
