XA400S
PREMIERTRAK TECHNOLOGY
DESIGNED FOR
POWER
The ground breaking XA400S is a high performance primary jaw crushing plant that is easy
to set-up, versatile and engineered for quarrying, demolition and mining applications that
require high production capacities.
Built with a hydraulic setting adjustment system, at the press of a button the jaw size can be altered enabling the
size of the product to be quickly changed. This system greatly reduces machine down time, which would result in
expensive delays to the operator.
The XA400S also benefits from being designed with an aggressive crushing action and high swing jaw, which
encourages material to enter the crushing chamber. These plants are fitted with Terex Pegson’s direct drive system
that has already been proved as being extremely fuel efficient and will achieve substantial savings on running costs.
Other features include a product conveyor which can be raised and lowered hydraulically, giving class leading
clearances under the crusher and engine. This conveyor has also been extended to produce a greater discharge
height for stockpiling material and is available with an optional deflector plate to prolong the life of the belt and to
assist in recycling applications.

XR400S
PREMIERTRAK TECHNOLOGY
DESIGNED FOR
EFFICIENCY
The XR400S is the perfect choice for recycling on primary applications. The hydraulic
release jaw crusher fitted to this plant will sense an overload and open when required
to protect the crusher against serious damage when uncrushables up to 200mm cube
enter the crushing chamber. The huge benefit of wonderful clearance under the crusher
and power pack is further improved when the conveyor is lowered at the push of a
button.
Attention to detail on any plant is the secret of a good design and features like the tunnel under the crusher
with minimal snagging points, clean crusher entry, low running cost and high performance all indicate the
attention to detail that has been applied to the plant.
The high discharge height conveyor, without a complicated and troublesome joint, easy set-up hopper and
minimal operator demands are all designed to keep this plant working and generating maximum profit for its
owner.
The plant is available with a number of options including magnet, side conveyor, radio remote, flipper plate
and extra large hopper to further enhance this excellent plant's capabilities.

The Terex Pegson XA hydraulic adjust system provides
the ability to quickly adjust the machine setting without
having to alter the compression spring mechanism.
Based upon many common components of the HR system,
the toggle beam is free to slide within a slot in the side walls
of the crusher with the assistance of small hydraulic cylinders
operated by the plant control system. Small shims are
inserted in equal amounts each side behind the toggle beam
to provide the required setting and the beam is then locked in
position by the mainframe and located with the adjusting
cylinders.
The XA system is ideal for use in quarry and recycling
applications with clean feeds and recycling applications with
no tramp material and low rebar content.

The Terex Pegson XR hydraulic release system protects
the machine from damage due to tramp metal up to
200mm3 and is ideal for recycling applications.
The toggle beam is free to slide within a slot in the side walls
of the crusher and the cylinders continuously act on the rear
of the beam, pushing it forwards against a shim pack at the
front. As crushing force is applied through the toggle plate,
there is no movement of the toggle beam until the pre-load
is exceeded as a result perhaps of uncrushable material
entering the chamber.
Should this occur, the pressure will be discharged permitting
the toggle beam to be pushed back under no load until the
uncrushable material is cleared.
This system ensures that the cylinders see no live load,
giving maximum seal life and crushing efficiency.
Terex Pegson's XR hydraulic release system is ideal for use
in recycling and medium-hard stone crushing applications.

Terex Pegson pioneered the development of the 1180 Premiertrak
to produce a reliable large capacity jaw crusher that is suitable for
a variety of quarrying and contract crushing applications.
Behind the success of the 1180 Premiertrak is the “M” series S.H.D. single toggle
jaw crusher which has been designed to deliver unsurpassed crushing
performance on the toughest applications.
This versatile unit is suitable for primary operations and will achieve capacities of
up to 450mtph depending on the size and type of material being processed.
A variety of options are available including an 800mm wide dirt conveyor together
with a 75mm wide grizzly bar spacing for high fines applications.

Terex Pegson has developed a reputation for setting industry standards
with their product developments and the XA750 tracked jaw crusher is no
exception. This robust high capacity crusher has been designed to meet
the challenges of large quarries, in pit operations and construction and
recycling sites. Operating as either a stand alone crusher, or primary
crusher feeding secondary or tertiary units it can deliver capacities of up
to 750tph depending on type and composition of the feed material.
The XA750 jaw crusher is one of the most advanced and efficient tracked crushing plants on
the market today. It offers substantial savings as its automated control system means it can
be a one man operation. Other benefits include an unrestricted feed opening to maintain
high production capacities and prevent bridging; a hydraulic Closed Side Setting adjustment
which can be changed quickly at the push of a button and a hydraulic draw back rod
retention system so downtime for maintenance is reduced.
The XA750 uses a Terex Jaques WJ3254 single toggle jaw
crusher to produce high volume product with excellent reduction
which can be stockpiled via a product conveyor to a discharge
height of 4m. The product conveyor can be raised and lowered
hydraulically for additional clearance.
As a standard feature the XA750 is powered by a Caterpillar C13
Tier lll Acert diesel engine and uses a direct drive system to
achieve greater power transmission, optimising fuel efficiency.
This engine has low emission levels and coupled with the plants
under belt dust suspression sprays, dust covers and noise
limitation features the XA750 meets and exceeds current
environmental legislation.
