PLACING YOUR ORDER
Authorized Pond Professionals
Chances are you received this catalog from a contractor in Anjon’s network of authorized pond
professionals. Good start! Authorized pros offer complete, turn-key design and installation services, or will
help the do-it-yourselfer with design advice, installation tips and convenient customer service.

Online Ordering
You may order directly from Anjon. We receive orders from customers in markets not currently served by
an authorized distributor or pond professional. Simply go to www.anjonmfg.com and place an order.
SHIPPING
We generally ship orders within 24 hours. Allow extra lead time for large, complex or special order items. During busy
times of the year, orders may take slightly longer to ship.
Loss or Damage - Inspect all products before they are signed for and accepted. If a shipment appears to be damaged,
sign for it noting the suspected damage, or simply refuse it and notify us immediately. For possible concealed damage
add “excluding hidden damages” when signing for freight. All damages and/or short shipments must be reported within 48
hours.
Shipping Address - FedEx will not deliver to a Post Office Box, only to a valid street address. If your shipment is going to
a job site, be sure to give your business address as well as the address at the job site. Please include a phone number for
both.
Packages less than 150 pounds will ship via FedEx Ground. If you need a shipment expedited, we offer Express Saver,
2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air FedEx, for an additional charge.
Freight Shipment – Single packages over 150 lbs. Or item(s) which exceed the maximum dimensions for FedEx Ground
will ship Truck Freight.
Return Policy - Return defective or no longer needed product directly to the place of purchase. If purchased from Anjon
Manufacturing directly, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is required. To receive an RMA number
visit http://anjonmfg.com/warrantyservicerequest.aspx or call an Anjon representative at 1-800-553-5605. Replacement
merchandise or credit will be issued once the product is received by Anjon. The contractor is responsible for freight cost
when shipping returns to Anjon Manufacturing.

Atlantic Water Gardens

durability to smaller installations.
PV1800 Pump Vault
Pro Series FastFalls
Pro FastFalls are completely sealed except for the spillway opening. This design eliminates any chance of leaking due to ‘over
pumping’. Molded support cones give the Pro FastFalls their incredible strength and also help diffuse the water flow while two
internal baffles slow down the velocity of the water to ensure even distribution across the spillway.
Pump Vaults
The heavy-duty one piece design of Atlantic’s Pump Vaults can accommodate large pumps and flow rates. Features include
large openings for pump access, cut lines for pump discharge and pipe extensions, and flat panels for custom plumbing.
The Pump Vault Extension is included with all Atlantic Mega pondless waterfall kits. The extension allows you to create a deeper
reservoir for larger systems. Multiple extensions can be added for even deeper basins or water volume.
Atlantic Eco-Blox
All Atlantic Large & Mega Pondless Waterfall Kits include Atlantic’s redesigned Eco-Blox water matrix. The new, triangle-shaped
openings allow for greater water mobility throughout while still preventing solids from slipping through. In addition, the H-beams
criss-crossing each of the eight panels that make up each Eco-Blox provide increased comprehensive and point-load strength to
make the basin last a lifetime.

Alpha One Filters
The Alpha One is uniquely designed. Its Alpha Bio One media stops the debris evenly throughout the
bead pack (resulting in greater flow, less head or back pressure, less maintenance.) The polishing
ability of the filter is one it’s most desirable features. There are no hidden areas for anaerobic bacteria,
to harbor and stagnate, only beneficial bacteria.
AquaBead Filters
AquaBead filters utilize the AquaSwirl Internal Vortex spinning design that spins heavier solids to the
center of the bottom of the vessel. Solids collect there until the operator opens the AquaBead sludge
drain valve. This is opened with the pump running, purging the solids out to waste under pressure
from the pump This unique feature of the AquaBead enables it be an extremely efficient filter,
because an efficient filter doesn’t hold solids, it gets rid of them

PondKeeper media is so unique, there is no other exactly like it. Designed to protect sensitive beneficial bacteria
during backwash, while providing huge amounts of surface area for the bacteria to live and prosper.
The PondKeeper filter utilizes a totally unique backwashing jetting system we call the “FLUFF-N-SPIN” system. Not
only does the internal design of the filter allow for a “FLUFFING” of the media during backwash, but spins the bed
and each individual piece of the PondKeeper media. This causes the media to get rid of any old bio floc that might
be clinging to each piece, while holding on to the precious beneficial bacteria with in the filter. There is no other
like it. Due to the “FLUFF-N-SPIN” agitation system and the design of the media, these units backwash beautifully

Kasco Robust Aire™ A
Robust-Aire diffused air systems provide deep water aeration for ponds and lakes. Diffused aeration is an effective
method of aeration for ponds. By using compressed air injected directly into the bottom of pond, a continuous flow
of water is moved upward and thousands of gallons of water are mixed with little expended energy. A Robust-Aire™
energy efficient compressor injects air to the bottom of your pond with weighted, SureSink™ airline and into the
Robust-Aire diffuser assembly. The diffuser breaks up the air into micro bubbles which rise to the surface. The rising
of the air bubbles creates current which transfers low-oxygen water to the surface, allows it to contact the atmosphere,
and breathe. Temperature layers are disrupted and fish are able to inhabit the entire water column. Oxygen levels
increase and harmful gases in the pond water are expelled.

Dynamic head pressure is found by taking the vertical height
↕ of your waterfall; the distance between where your pump
is (typically in the skimmer) and where your waterfall is, and
adding the static head pressure (pipe and fittings) 1’ for every
10’ of tubing and 1’ for every elbow or “T” fitting.

WHAT DOES EPDM STAND FOR?
EPDM stands for - (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) the chemical makeup of the rubber.

HOW DEEP SHOULD I MAKE MY POND?
For fish enthusiast, at least 2.5 feet deep, or below the freeze line (healthy fish like to swim up and down as well as side to side).
Check the local fence requirements and freeze line. For water gardens the pond can be 18” and deeper.
HOW DO I CONTROL ALGAE?
Depending on the type of algae you have, there are a few ways to control algae. UV light (page 16) can be used for green water or
single cell algae. For string algae, the Anjon Ionizer (page 16) kills existing algae and prevents new algae growth. For surface algae
on rocks & submerged surfaces Rescue Rock Scrubber (page 20) keeps waterfalls and streams in pristine condition
SHOULD I USE AERATION IN MY POND?
Aeration is beneficial to the health of your pond. You can increase the oxygen in your pond by adding aeration.
Bottom Aeration: Anjon LifeLine pumps (page 21) will increase oxygenation in the pond and help the over all health of your pond.

Surface Aeration: A decorative fountain is a beautiful way to oxygenate your pond. From large fountains from Kasco (page 33-35) to

DOES THE POND NEED TO BE DRAINED FREQUENTLY?
No, the only time it is necessary to drain your pond is during a clean-out, usually in the spring. Cleaning out a pond destroys
the beneficial aerobic bacteria that a balanced aquatic ecosystem needs. When cleaning Bio Filter Media it is best to do so with
dechlorinated water. A liquid beneficial bacteria starter (page 20) can be used to restart the anaerobic bacteria growth.
WHAT MAINTENANCE DO I NEED TO NEED ON MY PUMP?
Different types of pumps require different kinds of maintenance.
Direct Drive pumps like Anjon’s BigFrog pump (page 12) require very little to no maintenance. Place the pump in a buck submerged
in water when storing for the winter.
Asynchronous Drive pumps like Anjon’s Monsoon, (page 13) Flood (page 14) and EcoDrive (page 12) pump maintenance
