Order Fulfillment Processes
Shipping
Standard shipping method for Hekman/Woodmark orders is FOB from Linwood Logistics in Lexington
North Carolina or Woodmark in High Point North Carolina. Designers must specify a furniture carrier
at the time of order submission if White Glove Service is not selected. If no carrier is chosen at the time
of order submission, carrier selection will be made on behalf of the designer.
White glove delivery services are available for an additional charge.

Woodmark Product Limited Warranty – use standard catalog statement
Ordering and Acknowledging orders
Hekman must provide accurate ordering materials.
Designers must specify and order correct products.
Hekman will acknowledge complete and enterable orders within 24 hours of receipt of purchase order.
Designers will review acknowledgement and advise of discrepancies within 24 hours of receipt of
acknowledgment.
Hekman will make a reasonable effort to accommodate changes on casegood orders. Changes must
be submitted at least 24 hours before an acknowledged ship date to be considered. Upholstery orders
cannot be modified or cancelled once production has begun. Rush orders cannot be changed or
cancelled.
Casegood orders that are cancelled may be assessed a 10% handling fee. Casegood orders cancelled
after product allocation are subject to the standard 20% restocking fee.
Field Problem Correction Options
Damaged items
Designers are encouraged to use the white glove delivery service provided by Hekman/Woodmark.
Noted damage claims will be handled between Hekman and the delivery service, and the damaged
item will replaced immediately. Use of the white glove service requires that goods be inspected at the
time of delivery. Concealed damage claims are not allowed with white glove delivery service.
Freight claims should be filed on all items received with noted damage. Goods can be refused at the
time of delivery as needed.

Freight claims must also be filed with the carrier on items with concealed damage. Hekman will pay
1/3 of a concealed damage claim, with an additional 1/3 being paid by the freight carrier. Copies of the
statement from the freight carrier must be submitted in order for credit to be issued.
Hekman/Woodmark encourages the use of designer approved local repair personnel to perform routine
repairs. Pictures and prior manufacturing approval are required on all repairs if Hekman/Woodmark is
to share in the cost of the repair. Hekman/Woodmark will approve or deny requests for prior approval
of labor within 2 business days.
Parts Orders
Hekman/Woodmark will ship stocked parts orders within 48 hours of receipt of a complete and enterable parts order. Non-stocked parts orders will be shipped upon receipt of parts from overseas vendors.
Return Policy
Manufacturer authorization is required on all repairs or returns. Requests for return authorization
should be submitted to [email protected]. Requests need to include the Hekman acknowledgement or invoice number, a complete description of the reason the return is being requested, and photos
of the item to be returned. Returns unaccompanied by a return authorization or by an expired return
authorization will be refused and returned to the originator at the originator’s expense.
Hekman/Woodmark will issue credit for pre-approved returns within 15 business days of receipt of
product.

We are unable to honor adjustments, claims or credits for wearing quality or color fastness of upholstery fabrics. The seller warrants that labor conditions in
its place of business are in compliance with the Fair Labor Standards act of 1938, as amended. (Federal Wage and Hour law), and that all requirements of
the act as to the keeping of records have been met. We reserve the right to substitute materials and methods of fabrication as new methods and materials are
developed which will result in an improved product. Written authorization required for goods returned. No credit allowed for goods returned without our
