Introduction
My name is Roger Williams. I own and operate a performance race engine shop ran by the
name of Williams Precision Engines as well as a Race Team known as Williams Racing based
out of Saint Paul Indiana. My racing experience stretches back over 15 years performing such
duties as a driver, crew chief, engine builder and team owner. In those years I have been
involved with teams that have scored dozens of wins and track championships in all types of
racing classes, including Sprint Cars, UMP Modifieds, DIRT Late Models, as well as NHRA
drag racing.
I am currently looking for partners, business owners, or individuals that might benefit in
promoting their company, product and or services using a very cost effective, and aggressive
form of Mototsports marketing using Williams Racing as their agent.
Williams Racing has a busy season planned for 2009 with a lot of exposure opportunity
capable of promoting just about any kind of service or product. We are going to field three
different cars that compete in three totally different divisions. All of which have proven
success showing their creditability in the past by racing strong and staying in front of their
respected competitors.
Williams Racing will continue supporting a very competitive Sprint Car Team driven by a
young talented driver by the name of Joss Moffatt. In 2007 Joss showed the racing community
his talents by capturing the prestigious season long Lawrenceburg Speedway Track
Championship. 2008 was also good to Joss finishing 2nd in the Lawrenceburg Speedway
point championship race, and finishing 4th in the very lucrative MSCS $10000.00 to win
Sprint Car Show at Lawrenceburg Speedway. Joss out ran some of the sports biggest stars that
night. Joss also captured a very popular win at Twin Cities Speedway in 2008. In 2009 the
team plans to travel and compete at several Indiana Dirt tracks including Bloomington
Speedway, Kokomo Speedway, Twin
Cities Speedway, Gas Cities I-69
Speedway, and Lincoln Park Speedway.
Williams Racing will be once again
fielding a UMP Modified for the 2009
season. As in previous years, team owner
Roger Williams will be the driver. Our
Modified team is always a threat to win
at any event we enter. Three out of five seasons in competition our Modified team has
finished in the top five of the season long points battle at Lawrenceburg Speedway.
2009 will also mark the third season in a row for the Williams Racing Team to field a Stock
Car in the Frank Kimmel Street Stock Nationals held at the 1.5 mile NASCAR high bank oval
Kentucky Speedway. In 2007 the team decided to build a car and take a chance that we could
be competitive on the super fast paved track located in Northern Kentucky. To our delight we
were more than competitive, starting 72 on the grid and working our way up to 14th before
mechanical failure retired us early. On May 24th 2008 we got the chance to redeem ourselves,
by qualifying 5th and finishing third in this super prestigious race.
Frank Kimmel has been working to develop this series that will allow us to compete with our
pavement car at other famous venues like Rockingham Speedway, Nashville Speedway,
Bristol Motor Speedway, Atlanta Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway as well as
Kentucky Speedway. It is our sincere hope that we can obtain enough sponsorship help in 09
that we could compete in all of the events that Frank Kimmel has on his schedule. More info
about this series is available at our web site

Williams Racing will work hard for you and will provide one heck of a value by promoting
your company and product too as many individuals as possible each and every weekend.
In addition to the exposure we receive at the racetracks that our teams attend, we will get
weekly newspaper press in several different papers and media outlets, such as, (The Republic
Newspaper in Columbus IN, Greensburg Daily News, Mid American Racing News, National
Speed Sport News, The Shelbyville Daily News and Indianapolis Star). We will also be in
multiple racing news magazines, radio media, racing news web sites, select car shows, and
displays. We could even receive some racing related television coverage. The team will be
producing a multitude of racing T-Shirts, apparel and team / fan information cards featuring
our sponsor logos and detailed information highlighting our sponsors. Statistics say that every
T-Shirt that is worn will have over 3000 different people view and read the shirt before it is
discarded or goes to a garage sale. This feature combined with our high performance image
and flash is guaranteed to get any business valuable exposure. Can you think of a better way
to thank your customers or top employees for their loyalty and patronage than to provide them
with a couple tickets to a fantastic night at the races with T-Shirts and hats sporting your race
team and company logos. This gives them the chance to root on your very own race team to
victory. That is what I call a good solid business deal that will practically guarantee future
business with that customer. I can fully arrange a fantastic evening of entertainment for your
customers or employees any time you want.
Sponsorship is the key to any successful race team.
What is sponsorship? Put simply...a trade. The sponsor provides money needed to pay racing
expenses and the race team provides advertising. As a advertising agent for your business we
can provide services such as displaying your company's logo or name on each of our race cars
and trailer in prime viewing locations, fly advertising banners from our pit location, distribute
flyers of your products or services to the public at each race we attend, make sure that at each
race the track announcer mentions your business as the primary sponsor of our race team over
the intercom for all the fans to hear, and as a added benefit we can make available one of our
cars for display at your business and be on hand to answer questions about the racing industry
to your customers.
The higher the performance the our drivers are able to provide, the more exposure the you will
receive. We will be racing at several very popular racing venues in Indiana. Our racing
schedule is filled for most every weekend (approximately 25 races for the Modified team and
30 for the Sprint Car Team) from April to the end of October. Over the past several seasons
Williams Racing has been a constant threat for the win.
(Our Teams will Perform and Show Positive Results)
Each race event, fans gather from all over mid west to watch the thrills and spend their
money. The demographic makeup of the race audience is so varied as to include all income
brackets, and professions. All of these potential customers see and remember sponsor names
associated with their favorite drivers and teams, and this benefits the sponsors!
Williams Racing is excited about the opportunities and challenges that we face in the up
coming season. With good sponsors on board our chances of winning will dramatically
increase, making us one of the premiere Racing teams in Indiana. We have already secured
a few good sponsors for the season, with help coming from top names in the racing industry.
The need for a primary sponsorship is greater than ever this year.
It takes a great deal of money to prepare for a racing season and to follow it through.
Sponsors help us with pre season expenses such as car building and detailing, safety
equipment, and towing equipment. We also need help on weekly expenses such as fuel,
entrance fees, and weekly maintenance costs. Each year our costs go up, while sponsorship
help remains about the same.
Williams Racing stands ready to be a flexible partner with your company to develop a
campaign that will achieve your marketing goals for the future. Although there are many
ways to take advantage of the marketing opportunities available in the world of motorsports,
Williams Racing provides one opportunity not found in many other motorsport properties,
the opportunity to become part of a family dedicated to our partners success.
Williams Racing is interested in signing at least a one-year marketing deal in order for our
program to grow and provide the best possible services we can for you.
We are more than willing to work with any ideas or marketing plans that you would like to
develop. Please contact us as soon as possible so that we may begin working together.
My goal has always been to make this venture
profitable for all involved!
Thank You
Sincerely,
Roger A. Williams
