Summer Fun under the Sun
Why should one go out for a
summer break? Why should one take
time out with colleagues? Why is there
a need to spend a certain amount just
to enjoy?
The answer is simple. Everybody
deserves a break. Everybody deserves
to have a change of scenery.
Ev e r y d a y r o u t i n e s i n t h e
workplace may no longer be healthy. It
can already affect the way we look at
things and the way we deal with
others.
After grades have been computed
and clearances have been submitted,
some departments had their summer
getaways to experience the fun under
the sun.
The Nursing faculty went to
Mambukal Mountain Resort for some
kind of relaxation last March 24.
The CAS faculty spent the last day
of the 2nd semester in Campuestohan
Highland Resort to experience the
heat of summer. Other departments
are still bound for Sipalay and
elsewhere before the summer
vacation ends.
Numerous activities have been
done like swimming, trekking,
strolling, conquering heights, photo
taking, playing games, and eating.
Actually, the venue and amenities
do not matter. It is who you spend it
with that counts most.
Laughters may have been shared,
friendships built, relationships
nurtured but most importantly, the
memories created are those that will
always be treasured in the hearts of
every faculty who deserve a break
after a School Year of hardwork.
