WELCOME TO ANOTHER GREAT SEASON OF
SHOWS TO TAKE US THROUGH TO CHRISTMAS.
We open our season with acclaimed Irish folk
favourite CHRISTY MOORE for two nights
on 2nd and 3rd September. Music is a central
part of our programme and we look forward
to hearing PETER CORRY when he returns
after a long hiatus with the much loved
MASTERS OF THE MUSICALS in October. We
are excited to welcome legendary crooner
TONY CHRISTIE, (famous for ‘Amarillo’ and
‘Avenue and Alleyways’) for his debut here
in November. In the same month, Derry’s
own THE UNDERTONES celebrate their 40th
anniversary as a band with what is sure to be
a rousing evening of all their well known hits.
Also featuring this season are FOSTER AND
ALLEN, NATHAN CARTER and THE FUREYS.
For something different, why not join us for
an evening of Mozart Masterpieces with the
MAGICAL MOZART BY CANDLELIGHT.
This season, comedy is brought to us by
SEAN LOCK who returns with his new show
in October while comedy host of ‘Live At The
Apollo’, HAL CRUTTENDEN, debuts on our
stage in the same month. Internationally
acclaimed, JIMEOIN, is back in November while
Channel 4 favourite, JIMMY CARR makes a
welcome return for what is sure to be another
sell-out show. Comedy newcomer, ROMESH
RANGANATHAN, joins us in December.
The Force is with us when an all new INVASION
DERRY returns for another weekend of fantastic
photo opportunities for Star Wars fans in
September.
separated at birth, grow up on opposite sides
of the tracks, only to meet again with fateful
consequences.
International multi-award winning singer
Tommy Fleming takes to the stage for his first
major acting role in the hit drama/musical
PADDY, which returns by popular demand. We
have local drama with the return of the well
known PACKIE’S WAKE; there are two new
plays by local playwrights, Jonathan Burgess’
DIVIDED BY HISTORY UNITED BY MUSIC and
Brian Foster’s WHEN THE BOGSIDE SPINSTER
MET THE CARNDONAGH STUD.
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without our
pantomime and this year’s CINDERELLA is
shaping up to be our biggest and best! We have
a stellar cast, a fabulous script, an amazing set
and even more special effects. It’s fun for all the
family from aged 4 – 94!
This is just a snapshot of the many shows that
we have for our appreciative audiences this

BILL KENWRIGHT presents
Written by Willy Russell, the legendary Blood Brothers
tells the captivating and moving tale of twins who,
separated at birth, grow up on opposite sides of the
tracks, only to meet again with fateful consequences.
Few musicals have received quite such acclaim as the
multi-award winning Blood Brothers. Bill Kenwright’s
production surpassed 10,000 performances in London’s
West End, one of only three musicals ever to achieve
that milestone. It has been affectionately christened the
‘Standing Ovation Musical’, as inevitably it “brings the
audience cheering to its feet and roaring its approval”
(The Daily Mail).
Lyn Paul returns to the iconic role she has played many
times in the West End, in fact she was the show’s final
Mrs Johnstone when it closed at The Phoenix Theatre
in 2012. Lyn rose to fame as a member of the pop
group New Seekers whose numerous number one hits
include ‘I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing’ .The superb
score includes Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and the
emotionally charged hit, Tell Me It’s Not True.

After a long absence, Eddie Kerr’s sensational and hilarious
play will be on the road again and the funeral cortege is

The Mousetrap is famous around the world for being the
longest running show of any kind in the history of theatre,
with over 26,000 performances in London. This record
breaking 60th anniversary production is back by popular
demand.
The scene is set when a group of people gathered in a
country house cut off by the snow discover, to their horror,
that there is a murderer in their midst. Who can it be? One
by one the suspicious characters reveal their sordid pasts
until at the last, nerve-shredding moment the identity and
the motive are finally revealed.
In her own inimitable style, Dame Agatha Christie has
created an atmosphere of shuddering suspense and a
brilliantly intricate plot where murder lurks around every
corner.
