E. Nesbit’s well-loved tale is
brought to life in this new
adaptation by Woolford and John.
Roberta, Peter and Phyllis live in a
comfortable house in London until
their father, who works for the
government, is falsely accused of
selling state secrets and is
imprisoned for five years. The
children and their mother have no
choice but to leave their home and
move to a quiet little cottage next
to a railway in Oakworth, Yorkshire.
They quickly make friends with the
Station Master, Mr Perks, and an
Old Gentleman who waves every
day from his carriage on the 9.15 to
London. This unlikely friendship proves to be a very fortunate one

Hay Fever
Noel Coward's famous `comedy of
manners ` is set in the 1920s. It
takes place in the country home of
Judith Bliss, a celebrated retired
actress, and her unconventional
family. Each of the four of them
have invited a guest to spend the
weekend. The bewildered guests
are drawn in to what seems at
times a crazy, hilarious, parallel
universe where normal rules of
behaviour do not apply! Reputedly
written in only three days in 1924, it
has become one of the most
popular plays in the repertoire and was reckoned by Tyrone Guthrie
to have `as good a chance of immortality as any work of an author
now living.`

Richard Digance
Many people sing, play guitar and
tell stories but not many have
supported Steve Martin, Robin
Williams or played a guitar duet
with Brian May of Queen,
Richard Digance has.
Richard Digance is a rare
performer in that he's respected by
comedians for his original material
and by musicians for being an
accomplished performer/guitarist.
. His loyal following confirms his
wide appeal, from the younger
generation attracted by both his guitar playing and the fact he has
inspired many modern-day performers, to the super-loyal who have
followed Richard since the time he had his own ITV series and even
further when he started out in folk clubs. His evergreen career has
been acknowledged through numerous awards within both the
music and entertainment industries, from a BAFTA Nomination as a
TV entertainer to a Gold Award from The British Academy of
Composers and Songwriters. He is included in The Virgin Anthology
of Songwriters for his important contribution to British comedy
songwriting.
