Cost is $4.00 Registration available in the library or online at ucitylibrary.org Show Me Reader Book Club The Show Me Reader Book Club is for 2nd & 3rd graders. We will meet the 2nd Wed. of each month from October 12 to March 8 (except January) from 7 - 8. This is an intro to book clubs with picture books, activities, and refreshments. Two books will be read aloud at each meeting. Treehouse Book Club Fabulous Fall Stories & Songs* Robert Bernstein, from Robert’s Music Together, & Ms. W., from our Youth Services staff, offer another special family musical programs together. Tuesday, October 25 6:00 Officer Appreciation Storytime We celebrate our U. City officers at this very special evening with stories and song. Help us create a giant Thank You card for our local heroes. Tuesday, November 29 6:00 Ages 3 - 8 The Treehouse Book Club is for 4th- 6th graders. We will meet the 1st Wed. of each month from October 5 to March 1 (except January) from 7 - 8. Enjoy meeting with other readers to discuss, create, and munch. The Youth Service department won a Racing to Read Grant which enables us to purchase exciting technology for you to use with your children at home and at the library. YA Events Youth Leadership Program Toastmasters International An interactive 8-week course in the arts of communication & leadership for 7th - 12th graders will be taught by Toastmasters International, a public speaking organization. Refreshments will be served. Wednesdays, Sept. 7 - Oct. 26 7- 8:30 Advance registration required; $4 registration fee for manual and materials.
