General Information
Mission Statement
The Oakbrook Terrace Park District was
established to serve the local community
and general public in seeking those
recreational and leisure needs that are not
only a right but a necessity to the welfare
of the general public.
Park District programs and services are
designed to establish the opportunity
for everyone to enjoy and participate in
varied activities. Programs and services
are constantly reviewed and assessed for
relevance in regards to public needs.
The Park District is also dedicated to
maintaining the financial balance necessary
to establish, maintain and protect future
needs for community leisure.
The Park District views all of its facilities
and programs as a whole with their
maintenance and implementation being
done for the greater good for the entire
community and general public.
The Park District is dedicated to maintaining
the highest quality of professional staff to
serve the general public.
Cooperative Programs
In an effort to provide more programs, the Oakbrook Terrace Park District
offers cooperative programs with other districts. In most cases, our residents
will only have to travel a few extra miles, but they will have the advantage of
additional programs in which to participate. We hope that you will be able to
take advantage of these opportunities available to you.
The Park District believes in the ongoing
process of providing recreational services
for individuals with special needs
throughout the Northeast DuPage Special
Recreation Association and accessibility
for its facilities whenever and wherever
possible. Continued input from the
public will be constantly encouraged for
the purpose of providing relevant and
successful programs.

We have a wide variety of evergreen, shade, and flowering trees for you to select from and custom bronze plaques that may be inscribed.
We invite you to discover the positive impact of a giving tree. By
