2006 ANNUAL REPORT JAY CUTLER … MR. OLYMPIA 2006! OLYMPIA WEEKEND CAPS OFF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL YEAR EVER THE 2005 IFBB PRO LEAGUE ANNUAL REPORT: ANOTHER WORLDWIDE SUCCESS! JAY CUTLER … MR. OLYMPIA 2006! CONGRATULATIONS! Jay Cutler (USA) … Mr. Olympia 2006! The 2005 IFBB Pro League annual report was an instant success among the 58 countries attending the 59th IFBB Men’s World Amateur Bodybuilding Championships and IFBB International Congress in Shanghai, China (November 24-28, 2005), as well as with the 173 affiliated National Federations. Many thanks to the thousands of viewers who remarked on the highly informative nature of the 2005 IFBB Pro League annual report. September 30, 2006 is a day that will live in bodybuilding lore forever. A capacity crowd at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas bore witness to history, but it was not the history many had expected. Ronnie Coleman, going for his record-breaking ninth Sandow trophy, instead lost to four-time runner-up Jay Cutler, and by a convincing margin by bodybuilding standards, 22 to 38 (lowest score wins). In fact, Cutler won all four rounds of the show. 1 JIM MANION (USA) CHAIRMAN IFBB PROFESSIONAL LEAGUE Jim Manion Chairman, IFBB Pro League PO Box 3224, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 15230 USA Toll Free: 1-866-304-4322 Tel: (412) 276-5027 Fax: (412) 281-0470 [email protected] *also IFBB Vice President for North America and Chairman of the National Physique Committee of the USA Visit the IFBB OLYMPIA WEEKEND at www.IFBB.com IFBB PROFESSIONAL COMMITTEE IFBB PROFESSIONAL COMMITTEE The official IFBB Pro League at www.IFBB.com/ifbbpro/ www.IFBB.COM www.FLEXONLINE.com www.MUSCLEANDFITNESS.com NAME COUNTRY POSITION Jim MANION USA Chairman Tony BLINN Canada Secretary Robin CHANG USA Olympia Coordinator Rafael SANTONJA Spain European Pro Director Jim ROCKELL USA Men’s Representative Sandy RANALLI USA Women’s Representative Rob WILKINS USA Athlete Liaison (The Americas) Pawel FILLEBORN Poland Athlete Liaison (Europe) Peter McGOUGH USA Media Representative Jim LORIMER USA Promoter Representative Steve WEINBERGER USA Promoter Representative John BALIK USA Promoter Representative Dr. Bob GOLDMAN USA Medical Advisor Stephen R.
