April 24 PA Day
This is a PA day for Halton District School Board high
school students and all Halton Catholic District School
Board students.
June 12 Halton Multicultural Picnic
Visit Bronte Creek Provincial Park for cultural
entertainment, demonstrations and family activities.
Bring a picnic!
May 18 Victoria Day
Often fondly referred to as the first long weekend of
summer! Celebrate Queen Victoria’s birthday at Bronte
Creek Provincial Park by spending time on the farm with
the animals, playing games and baking like pioneers.
June 13, 18-21 Sound of Music Festival
The annual Sound of Music Festival offers 4 days of fun
for all ages! In addition to great musical acts, guests
can enjoy the Family Fun Zone as well as yummy food
and treats!
June 5 PA Day
This is a PA day for all elementary Halton Catholic District
School Board and Halton District School Board students.
June 25/26 Last Day of School
June 25th is the last day of school for all Halton District
School Board students. Halton Catholic District School
Board high school students finish June 25th while
elementary students finish June 26th.
June 7 Kite Festival
Build a kite or bring your own and help fill the sky with
colour. Free family fun, entertainment and vendors at
Brant Hills Park. Kite building materials are available, while
supplies last.

August 8 Sandcastles Festival
Enjoy the fun at Beachway Park and show off your
creativity while building your very own sculpture on the
beach. Register to participate and win great prizes.

July 1 Canada Day
Burlington’s Canada Day celebrations at Spencer Smith
Park make the list of Top 100 Festivals and Events
in Ontario. Check out the free Canadian inspired
activities followed by an amazing fireworks show! Visit
BurlingtonKids.ca for updates and other activities to
celebrate the occasion.
August 16 Burlington’s 24th Annual
Children’s Festival
Head to Spencer Smith Park to enjoy free sports-themed
activities, including live entertainment, play zones,
inflatables, crafts, themed shows, kids’ marketplace and
more at one of the Top 100 Festivals and Events in Ontario.
September 3-7 Burlington Rib Fest
Canada’s Largest Rib Fest will be held once again in
downtown Burlington at the waterfront Spencer Smith
Park. Enjoy the wide selection of ribs and treats plus live
music and fun for the kids!
September 8 Back to School
After an extra-long summer break its time to send our
Burlington Kids back to school.
