Tigers 4-13 all-time in Columbia. Georgetown has won seven
of the last eight overall in the series.
Last Time Out

added 15 points in the loss. Georgetown survived Pikeville
College’s comeback attempt and avenged an earlier season
loss to the Bears with a 91-86 win at home on Thursday. GC’s
Hollis Giles and Vic Moses scored 29 and 23 respectively in
the win.
Lindsey Wilson - Georgetown Part I
Georgetown forced Lindsey Wilson into a season-high 27
turnovers en route to a 69-41 win in Georgetown on Feb. 1.
The Tigers ended the game shooting 54.5 percent from the
field while limiting the Blue Raiders to 37.1 percent, including
1-of-14 from beyond the three-point arc. Hollis Giles scored
18 points to lead all scores.
Moving On Up
Eric McPherson continues to move up the all-time scoring
list in Lindsey Wilson history. His seven points on Thursday
moved the Cleveland native within two points of 15th place
on the program’s all-time scoring list. McPherson enters
tonight’s game with 896 points in his two years at Lindsey
Wilson.
Career Night
Andrija Tintor scored a career-high 27 points in Saturday’s
loss at Cumberlands. It marked the second consecutive game
the Belgrade, Serbia, native, recorded a career-high in points.
Tintor scored 24 points in the Blue Raiders’ 75-74 win over
Rio Grande on Thursday.

the week averaging 25.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists
per game. He shot 60 percent from the field and 63.6 percent
(7-of-11) from beyond the three-point arc.
Recipe for Success
Despite some struggles this season, Lindsey Wilson’s success under coach Paul Peck’s revolves around two numbers,
70 and 50. When the Blue Raiders score 70 points in Peck’s
seven-plus years, Lindsey Wilson is 131-14. Additionally, the
Blue Raiders are 73-8 under Peck when they shoot 50 percent
or better from the field. This season, LWC is 10-7 when scoring 70 points and 3-1 when shooting 50 percent.
A Pair of Player of the Year Candidates
Georgetown sports a pair of Mid-South Conference Player of
the Year candidates on its roster. The reining MSC Player of
the Year Vic Moses is having another terrific season, averaging 17.7 points and 8.4 rebounds. He leads the MSC in field
goal percentage at 66.6 percent. Hollis Giles is another serious candidate for the league’s top individual award. Giles
leads the team averaging 18.9 points per game. He also averages 2.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contest.
