The WEJTAP
INSTALLATION TOOL is a
one-piece assembly that consists of a head
and a power unit with a Locking Breach. Two colorcoded, interchangeable heads accept all WEJTAP
connectors. The “memory” of the WEGTAP
connector compensates for any potential loosening
of connections over time.

WEJTAP COVERS are installed on connectors
to prevent them from coming in contact with other
taps or exposed ground points. The Wejtap Covers
are rugged snap-on devices available in four sizes to
cover all connector sizes and are cold weather tested
for easy installations.
BATTERY-OPERATED
QUAD-POINT “DIELESS” CRIMPING TOOLS
These 6.2-ton, DIELESS, 12V, tools utilize four indentors to make
the crimp. Two-speed pump advances the ram quickly to start the
crimp, reducing crimp completion time. The ram automatically
retracts after the crimp is complete. For use with Anderson brand
connectors and other connectors manufactured to ANSI C119.4. They
are lightweight, feature an angled pistol grip and a 360° rotating head.
The “Flip-Top” model uses a pull pin to open head for easy removal
from the connector. Weight: 11.1 lbs.

These tools accept Burndy “W” type dies. They have bent hard wood handles. Their heads
have two permanent die grooves. A specific size nose die groove and a “D3” groove which
also serves as a seat for die inserts used to install additional splices, taps, and terminal
connectors.
Designed to provide over 90,000 crimps on terminals with wire ranges through 4/0 ACSR.
This tool weighs only 6 lbs. and generates a crimp force of 9,000 lbs.

The BP-70E (pictured left) is the standard replacement battery for all
ROBO tools. The BP-70EI “Smart” battery (pictured right) is the same as
the standard BP-70E with the addition of a LED display that will indicate
its power capabilities. It is self evaluating, allowing the user to monitor the
status of the battery’s power in between charges. Charge time is
approximately 25 minutes for a fully depleted battery.

The BP-70MH is a nickel metal hydride
battery that has an ultra high capacity of 2.9
Ah, 30% greater run time than the BP70E. It is distinguished by the blue rim
on the top cap. Charge time is
approximately 35 minutes on a fully
depleted battery.

The PG-4 gauge is used to calibrate 12
ton output tools. It was designed to fit in
all brands of 12 ton tools, and is supplied
with U-type test dies. If you are using
Kearney tools, specify PG-4K which
comes with TDK-1 test dies.

The CH-35R charger has an
optional refresh cycle built in
to discharge then recharge the
battery, to eliminate “memory”
effect and return the battery to
its optimal performance. This cycle can be
used anytime the operator feels the battery is
losing performance or the number of cycles per
charge is decreasing.

The CH-70DCH can be
plugged directly into an
automotive cigarette lighter
and has a built in overload
fuse protector. Although it
is composed of a lightweight
printed circuit, the battery drain on an automotive
system is considerable and the engine should be
running while the battery is being charged. We do not
recommend battery charging while the engine is off.
