assistance to cancer patients throughout Central Alabama including those patients who lack the resources necessary to otherwise receive

NY Giants Super Bowl-Winning
Quarterback & MVP
Eli Manning is a two-time Super Bowl MVP, beating the New
England Patriots in both 2008 and 2012.
Along with his father, Archie, the legendary former New
Orleans Saints quarterback, and his brother, Peyton, Super
Bowl and NFL MVP, Eli Manning carries the torch honoring
his family's great NFL quarterback legacy.
Eli is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, where he received numerous academic and athletic
honors, including the Maxwell Award as the nation's best all-around player, the Johnny Unitas Golden
Arm Award, the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Scholar Athlete Award, and
SEC Player of the Year, to name just a few. He graduated with a degree in Marketing and was the
number one selection in the 2004 NFL Draft.
Off the field, Eli is involved in numerous charitable organizations. He and his family assisted in the
relief efforts after Hurricane Katrina by organizing airlifts of emergency supplies to areas affected by
the hurricane in his hometown of New Orleans and surrounding areas. He has been honored by the
Police Athletic League of New York City and has become the Giants' leader in supporting the
National Football League and American Heart Association’s campaign, What Moves U, a national
youth movement and awareness initiative designed to promote physical fitness and healthy living to
an increasingly inactive generation of children. He is a member of the American Red Cross National
Celebrity Cabinet and the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. He also uses his time
to champion the efforts of The March of Dimes, and committed to raising $2.5 million for construction
of the Eli Manning Children's Clinics at the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children in Jackson,
Mississippi.
Eli and his wife, Abby, reside in New Jersey. Every summer, along with his father Archie and brothers
Cooper & Peyton, Eli operates the Manning Passing Academy, a summer camp for high school
quarterbacks and receivers.

The Cancer Wellness Foundation is pleased to announce plans for “An Evening with Eli Manning” to be held March 15,
2013. Guests will enjoy a special evening of engagement and dinner with the two-time Super Bowl MVP and current New
York Giants star Eli Manning.
This event will benefit the Cancer Wellness Foundation of Central Alabama (CWFCA). Since its incorporation in
Montgomery in 1997, CWFCA has provided hope as well as support and educational services to address the needs of
cancer patients and their families in a 33-county area of central Alabama. Specifically, in 2011 the Foundation
connected 1,002 cancer patients with almost $5 million in services including transportation, medications, and
nutritional supplements.
CWFCA is working to secure sponsorship commitments now for this gala. Sponsorship levels and their accompanying
benefits are as follows:
