DEPARTMENT NOTICE
The Solid Waste Department will not collect
curbside items due to the following reason(s).
1. IMPROPER CONTAINERS
• M
ust use garbage bags or garbage
containers with handles - no barrels
• A
shes and sawdust must be securely
packaged to avoid flying particles
2. EXCESSIVE WEIGHT
• Maximum weight per garbage container is 50 lbs
3. EXCESSIVE LENGTH
• Items must measure less than 3’ in
dimension in any one way
• B
ranches, twigs and other garden refuse
must be tied in bundles or placed in boxes,
not to exceed 3’ in length
4. UNACCEPTABLE WASTE
