THE "SPORTING" ENGLISH? A COMMENTARY BY "MAN IN THE STREET"
An Australian rant against the perceived unsportsmanlike behaviour of Jardine's
Bodyline team in the infamous 1932-33 Ashes series. The author, thought to be

for criticism - very often unjust criticism - from English visitors, big men and peering
littlenesses alike".
8vo. 90pp. Pictorial boards, general spotting and boards a little warped. A very
good copy of a rare and interesting book.
