Mud Run. Lace up your sneakers and bring
friends, family and coworkers for this event
that promises good clean fun!*

2015
Junior
4-H’er of the Year
Matt MacMaster, son of Dr. Jaci Fitzerald and Dr.
John MacMaster of Harrisville, was named the
Junior 4-H Member of the Year. MacMaster’s
involvement in the county program has been in
several areas of interest, including livestock,
shooting sports and amateur radio. In 2014, he
became one the youngest HAM radio operators in
Alcona County and is currently a volunteer member
of the Alcona Amateur Radio League. In addition to
his medallion, MacMaster will receive a $25 cash
award, courtesy of the 4-H Advisory Council.
2015
4-H’er of the
Year
This year’s 4-H’er of the Year honors went to Seth
Tulgetske, son of Melissa and James June of
Glennie. Tulgetske’s accomplishments throughout his
4-H career include mastery of various livestock
projects, completion of countless hours of community
service, participation in numerous statewide events
and providing leadership at 4-H camp for two years.
His medallion was accompanied by a check for $50,
courtesy of the Alcona 4-H Advisory Council
 


teamwork and strategy will help you be
successful. Laser tag games are not only fun and
exciting, but a great way to get exercise! Never
played before – don’t worry – complete
instructional/safety briefings will happen prior to
the start of each game. Please show up 30
minutes before the start of the game that you
would like to play.
Our Mission at Laser Team Challenge is to
provide a fun activity for families, groups and
individuals – promoting planning and teamwork
in a safe setting and in a manner suitable for all
ages, genders and skill levels.

Cutest Baby Contest
Enter your cutest baby picture. Pictures entered
must have been taken in the last year and limited
to newborns, infants and babies up to 24 months.
Pictures will be displayed in the Campbell
Building. Each penny dropped in the baby’s
container counts as one vote.
Baby with most votes wins the contest and prize.
Pictures need to be dropped off at the fair office
by noon on 8/16/16.
Winner will be announced
Saturday after the 5:30 bike giveaway.

In Honor and Memory of
Jim Pyne
On July 25, 2015 we lost a good friend, fair board member
and supporter of our fair. Jim served as a member of the
board for many years. His dedication, leadership and
commitment helped to make our fair what it is today.
He was always there with his “green” tractor to load
weights at the horse pull and help keep the track in running
condition at the truck and tractor pull.
Jim is missed by his many friends in the community.

