He lives in Van Horne and has been
with us for 40 years.

Brad is our Asst. Manager, a

our Transportation Dept. and our Safety
Director. Brad lives in Luzerne and has
been with us for 30 years.
JEFF SELK
Jeff is a Professional Custom
Applicator and also does the
maintenance on our custom application
equipment. Jeff lives by Keystone and
has been with us for 12 years.
JASON KNAACK
Jason is our L.P. and Lawn Care Manager. He is in charge of sales and deliveries
of our L.P. products as well as sales and application of all of our lawn care products. Jason lives in
Van Horne and has been with us for 7 years.
JACK FISHER
Jack is an Agronomy salesman and is
responsible for sales of all of our agronomy products as well as our dust control program.
Jack lives in Blairstown and is in his 3rd year with
us but has been in the business for 35 years.

Travis is our Shop Manager and
a Professional Applicator.
He is in charge of our Fleet Maintenance
and Tire Sales. Travis lives by Luzerne and
has been with us 13 years.
CURTIS MILLER
Curtis is our HIGH Q and GPS Specialist.
He is responsible for sales and collection of
data for our HIGH Q Program as well as installation &
maintenance of all of our GPS equipment. Curtis lives
in Cedar Rapids and has been with us for 7 years.
JOLENE VON AHSEN
Jolene is our Office Manager
and is in charge of our payroll,
accounts payable and all of our financial,
government and tax filings. Jolene lives in
Keystone and has been with us for 15 years.
SARA COMP
Sara is our Asst. Office Manager
and is in charge of our billing
department as well as accounts
receivable and inventories. She lives by
Luzerne and has been with us 4 years.
JOE FISHER
Joe is a professional custom
applicator and helps to get our
equipment ready for the season. Joe lives in
Vinton and is in his 3rd year with us but has
experience in the ag business for 30 years.

John is a Professional Semi Driver as
well as having a Custom Applicators
License. John also hauls a lot of our liquid and
dry fertilizer as well as grain. John lives by
Keystone and has been with us 11 years.
BILL BOIES
Bill is our Agronomy Dept. Manager and is
responsible for overseeing all Fertilizer and
Chemical sales as well as our DeKalb and Asgrow
seed sales. Bill lives in Keystone and has been with us
for 9 years but has been in this business for 28 years.
BOB GRIMM
Bob is our Asst. Shop Manager.
He assists with everything in the
shop and also drives straight truck.
Bob lives in Vinton and has been
with us 20 years.
JIM FISHER
Jim is a professional semi driver
as well as a professional custom
applicator. Jim lives in Blairstown
and is in his 3rd year with us but has
ag experience for 30 years.

BRIAN STRELLNER
Brian is our Fuels Dept. Manager and is
responsible for all sales & deliveries of all our
petroleum products, including farm deliveries of soy
diesl & ethanol as well as house fuel. We have supported
soy diesel and ethanol since their inception. Brian lives
in Van Horne and has been with us 21 years.
JOHN PICKART
John is semi retired but still helps
us by driving truck and does a lot
of running after parts for us.
John lives in Keystone and has been
with us 40 years.
DICK NOVOTNY
Dick is semi retired but still does a
lot of lawn measurement for us.
Dick lives in Belle Plaine and has
been with us 15 years.
JAY FISHER
Jay is our Agronomy Sales Manager at our
Blairstown location. He is in charge of Fertilizer, Lime, Chemical & Seed sales. He is also in charge of
our dust control program. Jay lives in Blairstown and is in
his 3rd year with us but has been in ag sales for 26 years.

Baked Ham
Bacon-Wrapped
Scallops with
Cream Sauce

Ingredients:
1 (5 lb.) fully cooked,
bone-in ham
20 whole cloves
1/2 c. apricot preserves
3 T. dry mustard
1/2 c. packed light
brown sugar
Ingredients:
10 bacon strips
10 large sea scallops
1 c. whipping cream
2 T. Dijon mustard
2 T. maple syrup
1/8 t. salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Score surface of ham
with shallow diamond-shaped cuts. Combine cloves,
preserves and mustard and spread over ham. Pat brown
sugar over apricot mixture. Place ham on a rack in a
roasting pan. Bake for 20 minutes per pound or until
ham is heated through and thermometer reads 140
degrees F.
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place bacon in a 15x10x1inch baking pan and bake for 7-10 minutes, or until partially
cooked and lightly browned. Drain and wrap a strip of
bacon around each scallop, securing with toothpicks. In
a saucepan, bring cream to a boil. Reduce heat and add
mustard, syrup and salt. Bring to a boil, cook for 2 minutes
and set aside. Increase oven heat to 400 degrees F and
bake scallops for 8-12 minutes, or until firm and opaque.
Serve with cream sauce.

Ingredients:

2 c. apple cider
1/3 c. real maple syrup
2-1/2 T. fresh thyme, chopped
2 T. fresh marjoram, chopped
1-1/2 t. grated lemon zest
3/4 c. butter, softened
Salt and pepper to taste
1 (12 lb.) whole turkey,
neck and giblets reserved
2 c. onion, chopped
1-1/2 c. celery, chopped
1-1/2 c. carrots, chopped
3 c. chicken broth
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 bay leaf
1/2 c. apple brandy
Directions:
1 (16 oz.) pkg. lasagna
noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1 T. Italian seasoning
4 c. ricotta cheese
1 c. grated Romano cheese
2-1/2 c. spaghetti sauce
1-1/2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
2 medium zucchini, sliced
1 c. fresh basil leaves
Combine apple cider and maple syrup in a saucepan, bring to a boil and
cook until reduced to 1/2 c. Remove from heat and add 1 T. thyme, 1 T.
marjoram and lemon zest. Stir in butter and season with salt and pepper.
Cover and chill maple butter until cold. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Reserve 1/4 cup maple butter for gravy and rub remaining maple butter on
turkey. Place turkey in a roasting pan and arrange onion, celery, carrots and
turkey neck and giblets around it. Sprinkle 1 T. thyme and 1 T. marjoram
on top. Pour 2 c. broth into pan. Roast turkey for 30 minutes. Reduce oven
temperature to 350 degrees. Cover turkey loosely with foil and continue
roasting for about 2-1/2 hours, or until a meat thermometer registers 180
degrees F. Transfer turkey to a platter and let stand 30 minutes. Strain
pan juices into a large measuring cup, remove excess fat and add enough
chicken broth to measure 3 c. Transfer liquid to a saucepan and bring to a
boil. In a small bowl, combine 1/4 c. maple butter and flour and whisk into
broth mixture. Add remaining thyme, bay leaf and apple brandy, if desired.
Boil until reduced to sauce consistency, stirring occasionally, about 10
minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve with turkey.
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Boil lasagna noodles 6 to 8 minutes
until al dente, drain and rinse with cold water. Lay noodles flat and
blot away excess water with a paper towel. Brown ground beef over
medium-high heat, add onion, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning, and
cook until meat is done. Drain and set aside. Combine ricotta cheese,
Romano cheese, 2 c. spaghetti sauce and seasoned ground beef. Mix
until well blended. Spread remaining spaghetti sauce in bottom of a
9x13-inch baking dish. Layer ingredients in this order: noodles, ricotta
mixture, basil leaves, noodles, 1 c. mozzarella cheese, zucchini slices,
ricotta cheese and noodles. Top with remaining spaghetti sauce,
basil leaves and mozzarella cheese. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes. If
mozzarella cheese becomes too browned, loosely cover with foil.
