This, ultimateLy creates a cycloidal - a multi-directional, three way wave, moving north/south, east/west and in a circular direction all at the same time. The end result is a deep, penetrating massag3, which provides a multitude of benefits with no harntful side eJJbcts. vibration Polymodulation is yet another step forward in the application of this wnpercLlleled massage systen':, enabling you to enjoy Tlree dinertsionaL Ctcloklal action wates This new action, built into the existing system, allows two alternatives, both highly beneficial, forms of vibratory action to be selected. One is a constant frequency, giving a steady, continuous cycloidal action. The new cycloid polymodulated action, produces a varying frequency, which creates a pulsating, or surging action. This provides an even deeper beneficial effect. the benefits of passive exercise. wherever you may be. The speed of either system is easily controlled by the use of the massage motor control. Used regularly and for lengths of time which suit you best, you will find that your Cyclopad can provide comfort and relief. Illustrated on the following pages are some suggested ways of using your Cyclopad/Hand Unit, but experimentation could be necessary for you to gain the maximum benefit. NOTE: IF YOUR CONDITION is in an inflamed state we recommend that you discontinue use on that area until the inflammation subsides. NEVER use the Cyclopad/Hand Unit under a blanket, or obstruct, in any way, the ventilation holes in the motor housing. REMEMBER the motor must be allowed to 'breathe'. NEVER pick up the Cyclopad/Hand Unit by the electrical cable. ON NO ACCOUNT should embrocation or similar lotions be allowed to come into contact with the outer casing. TAKB CARE to prevent string, hairpins etc. from entering the air vents. Your Cyclopad is fitted with a control panel, connected to your pad. The pad itself is connected to the mains point by a 3.5 metre length of cable. This controls the motor speed. The controi knob is scaled tiom 1 to 9 - the hisher the number. the faster the motor speed. I : The timcr control is graduated in a clockwise directiorr, with scttings of 0 to 60 minutes in 10 rninute intervals. Hrving set the time rcquired. the tirner will automatically switch olf the motor at the end of the chosen period. The timer can be overidden by turring the timer cortrol knob anticlockwise to the 0 position until a click is heard. Please note: When the timer has automatically switched off or been manually cancelled please turn the timer fully anticlockwise to the 0 position until a click is heard you must then wait 10-12 seconds before the timer can be switched on or set to a new time period. Pain, such as lower back pain, and that associated with postural fatigue, post exercise spasm or athletic injuries, is often the result of muscular spasm or tight, taut muscles. Similarly, the pain associated with rheumatism and lumbago is often caused by the stiffness of muscular spasm, and by increasing the blood circulation to the affected area, the pain can be subdued. To help ease many types of muscle and joint pain, sit or lie with the affected area on the pad. Set the motor massage control to 3 or above and apply for 15 to 30 minutes. Relief will usually last for several hours, but remember, it can be achieved repeatedly by daily use, as required, over a period of weeks, months and even years, without the harmful side effects sometimes associated with the use of pills or drugs. The use of your Niagara equipment will not eliminate the underlying cause of the pain, but it will help to increase the circulation and provide a more relaxed muscle function, often resulting in increased mobility. :l;::r This is the black rocker switch at the bottom, right of the control panel. It displays l/0 positions only. When the Cycloid Polymodulation vibration is required, depress to the 1 position. This will allow the motor to change from a fixed to a modulated vibration. Depressing the rocker switch to 0 will restore the fixed vibration.
