PNEUMATIC VALVE ACTUATORS WWW.V-FLO.COM V-FLO Pumps & Systems QK Series Pneumatic Actuator GENERAL DESCRIPTION Type QK part-turn pneumatic valve actuators are the key component of the pneumatic valves, suitable for the control of butterfly valves, ball valves etc, They can completely station, petroleum and chemical industry, water conservancy etc. if necessary, they can control the positions of the valves by reception of pressure signal of 0.02-0.1 MPa or electric signal of 0-10mA;4-20mA DC, from the regulating unit according to users' requirement. When the signal pressure entered corrugated pipe (1) is increased enough, it causes the major lever (2) to turn round the fulcrum (15) and so retainer (13) aproaches the spray nozzle (14) to produce a back pressure. After amplified by two-way amplifier (16) the back pressure is put into gas chamber of piston mechanism (8) and causes the piston to produce a displacement to push the pork connected rigidly to push rod of operating mechanism to turn a rotation of 90º and to drive the feedback cam (5) to rotate counterclockwise as to draw the feedback spring(11). When the force of feedback spring is equivalent by torgue to the force of signal pressure acting on corrugated pipe, the lever system reaches balance. Then certain signal pressure is corresponding to certain angular motion of valve. Spring (12) is used for zero Regulation Operating skeleton drawing of type QK□-c actuator ® V-FLO 3 V-FLO Pumps & Systems QK Series Pneumatic Actuator BLOCK DIAGRAM OF TYPE QK -D/E When the current signal from the electric regulator enters the coil of torque motor assembly(1),a magnetic field is formed in the gap of torque motor. Acting together with the permanent magnetic field, the gap magnetic field causes the armature(2) to produce a force towards left and make the major lever amature (2) turn round the fulcrum (15) so that the retainer (13) approaches the spray nozzle (14) to produce a back pressure. Amplified by the amplifier (16), the back pressure is put into gas chamber of piston mechanism and causes the piston to produce a displacement to push the pork connected rigidly to push rod of operating mechanism to turn a rotation of 90º and to drive the feedback cam (5) to rotate counter-clockwise as to draw the feedback spring(11).When the feedback spring is equivalent by torque to the force of torque motor acting on major lever, the lever system reaches balance. Then certain signal current is corresponding to certain position of valve. Spring (12) is used for zero regulation SPECIAL APPLICATION 1.Two-style pneumatic cut-off control: This is a special product of pneumatic actuator and can carry out two-phase opening or two-phase closing, i.e. one-phase opening and two-phase closing, two-phase opening and two-phase closing, Two-phase opening and one-phase closing according to flow performance. It is mainly used for ball valve and can prevent the valve from leakage and failing of opening and closing. It can slow the speed during opening and one-phase closing and can make the fluid vary smoothly to avoid the explosion caused by water hammer in inflammable liquid. It can also prevent measuring instrument in system from damage caused by shock. So it suitable for petrochemical works and biological product manufacturers 2. They are used to control opening and closing of valves such as gate valves, globe valves etc. They are new type automatic device for pipe line control. It combined with ball valves, butterfly valves for pneumatic valves . GT actuators are also suitable for other mechanic devices with 90°movement. Working conditions and Technical data: 1.
