After returning home from WWII, Gail Martin rekindled his passion for archery and bowhunting. In 1951 he
and his wife, Eva, made the decision to turn the family hobby into a full blown business. It has been 60
wonderful years and they haven’t looked back.
Gail and Eva remain involved to this day, and Martin Archery now benefits from three generations of Martin
Family. Gail revolutionized the manufacturing of bowstrings and still designs traditional bows. Terry is the
driving force in compound design with over 25 patents. Ryan continues the tradition with his modern design. Dan
is now retired. Archery is the thread that ties this family together, and 60 years of working in concert has created
a company that is distinctly unique. No other company in the archery industry can claim this kind of longevity.

Acu-Trak 2.0 and 1.5 Single Cam
Nitro 2.0 and 1.5 Hybrid Pro Cams
Redesigned and redefined. These incredibly quick cams fall into
the Hybrid category, but are really in a class by themselves.
Through years of experience with high performance hybrid cam
systems, we are now able to deliver incredible speed with a
smoother gentler draw, and even less vibration or recoil. An
adjustable draw stop lets you determine the amount of let-off,
while ensuring a rock solid wall. If you love the speed, then this
is the cam system for you. Rotating modules allow draw length
adjustment in ½” increments. Found on the Firecat 400,
ShadowCat, Crossfire, Onza 3, and Silencer models.

Our latest single cam innovation. Making single cam systems faster,
quieter, easier to tune and maintain is a neverending quest for our
engineers. The Acu-Trak is a proud achievement. Cam lean and
nock travel are now a thing of the past. Improved speed and
adjustability are here today. Machined from solid aluminum, and
equipped with precision Speed Bearings for friction free, lifetime use.
An adjustable draw stop can be used to refine the wall, or amount of
valley for the individual shooter. Found on the Firecat 360, Pantera,
Ridge Hunter, Exile and Saber.
Acu-Trak 1.5 Single Cam is the smaller version of the Acu-Trak. It is
specifically designed for use in achieving maximum performance at
shorter draw lengths. Standard on the 2011 Leopard, the Acu-Trak
1.5 utilizes the same adjustable draw modules and is equipped with
the same high standard Speed Bearings.

Quiet built right in! This integrated arrow shelf reflects our
relentless approach to noise elimination. The shelf itself is
made from a dampening material that extends fully across the
arrow shelf to the rest mount, eliminating any potential noise
at this critical area. No more clanking arrows or slapping
from your fall-away rest.

Years of research, stress
testing and retesting went
into this exciting new limb design.
Created expressly for today’s parallel
limb design. A new hinge profile is
specifically designed to allow a heavy limb
load to be dispersed over a greater area, and
a reengineered fork ensures stability. The
goal was to make the toughest limb possible,
and this limb pushes the limits. Standard on
all 2011 Martin bow models.
Roto Limb Cup Pivoting Limb System
Redefined is a term we’re using a lot this year, but it applies
in so many ways. Our new ROTO Cup is a perfect example.
Limb alignment is secured with precision fit. Opportunities
for either forward or lateral movement are completely
eliminated. We took a minimalist approach to the design and
the result is super lightweight, clean, and extremely functional.

Almost all bows offer a threaded stabilizer mount,
but including a quick detach system as an integral
part of the bow’s design is a unique Martin feature!

steel threaded stabilizer mounting system is

On August 28, 2010, a Martin Archery 66” Bamboo Viper, shot by
Larry Hatfield, set a new world flight record for 50# American
longbows of 418 yards, 1 foot, 1 inch, totally eclipsing the old
record of 369 yards. It was also the first time a wooden arrow from
a longbow traveled over 400 yards. On Sunday the same model
set a new 50# American longbow broadhead record. Larry also
holds the 35# American longbow record using the same model.

We introduced rubber to bowstrings years ago, and have refined
the manner in which string vibration is killed at the source. The
SOS design features a bracket that loosely holds a dampener of soft,
vibration absorbing material. Not a blunt, immovable object, but
a moveable, absorbing dampener that knocks down vibration like
NOW! Mounted near the arrow, the SOS has no ill-effect on tuning
or arrow flight, nor does it require an extra bulky mounting system.
Lightweight, accuracy friendly and very effective, the SOS represents
the latest in string dampening technology. The SOS requires a TRG
to be installed.

Why bother trying to reduce torque at the grip if you don’t address
torque at the limb tips? The age-old limb torque problem, caused
by pulling the cables to the side of the bow, is solved with our new
TRG! No more cam lean, no more string wear, no more torque! The
TRG allows your cables to travel naturally as you draw the bow, then
directs them out of the way upon release of the bowstring. The most
ingenious ideas are often the simplest, and to that, the TRG adds
further proof.
