A revolutionary concept that redefines how triggers function.
Why Savage Developed the AccuTrigger
Adjustability, Added Safety And Enhanced Accuracy
At Savage, we’re constantly searching for new
products and innovations that provide a true
benefit to shooters. The trigger is one area that
has always captured our attention.
The Savage AccuTrigger gives the flexibility to
set trigger pull to individual preferences without
having to pay a gunsmith to adjust it. Even when
adjusted to its lowest setting, the AccuTrigger is
completely safe. When maintained and adjusted
as intended, the AccuTrigger cannot accidentally
discharge during normal use, even if it is jarred
or dropped. Furthermore, the crisp, clean, light
trigger pull allows the shooter to maximize the
rifle’s accuracy potential.

How Does The AccuTrigger Work
The AccuTrigger is designed with an integrated
AccuRelease™ that must be completely depressed
or the rifle cannot fire. While the trigger is being
pulled, the AccuRelease is intentionally depressed,
which unblocks the sear and allows the rifle
to discharge.
Adjusting The AccuTrigger
Adjusting the AccuTrigger is easy. Simply remove
the stock and rotate the return spring using the
tool supplied with the rifle. The AccuTrigger has
a single adjustment location and is designed so it
cannot be adjusted below the minimum setting.
The AccuTrigger vs. Other Triggers
New Target AccuTrigger
Sophisticated software was used to compare
objective measurements of the new AccuTrigger
with competitors’ triggers. These comparisons
confirmed that there is a quantifiable and
repeatable difference between the AccuTrigger
and other triggers tested. This test demonstrated
that the new Savage system has a lighter pull
than all the other major brands. In fact, the
AccuTrigger was lighter than a top-of-the-line
imported brand and a custom aftermarket
trigger. Testing also revealed the AccuTrigger
was much smoother, crisper, broke cleaner
and demonstrated less creep than any other
factory-built trigger tested.
The Precision Target Rifle line, Precision
Target Actions, and select Model 12’s also
feature the new addition to the revolutionary
AccuTrigger line. The Target AccuTrigger™ is
adjustable from approximately 6 oz. to 2.5 lbs.
What’s more amazing is that it is still completely
safe, even when adjusted to the lightest
setting. When properly maintained, the Target
AccuTrigger cannot accidentally discharge
during normal use even if dropped or jarred.

Safety Tip:
Most triggers found in firearms produced
today have a very heavy pull. The reason is quite
simple: liability. Because manufacturers cannot
afford to build firearms with triggers that could
accidentally discharge; they’ve resorted to heavy
trigger pulls. Even though factory triggers
can usually be adjusted to some extent, such
adjustments can create unsafe conditions and
usually void the warranty.

Precision Actions
The front and rear mating surfaces of the receiver are heat treated
at 1550 degrees. This unique induction-hardening process heats
both ends of the receiver without heating the entire length, which can
warp the receiver and degrade accuracy.
Induction-hardening of the critical mating surfaces of
the receiver is paramount to ensure the superior accuracy
of a Savage rifle is maintained for decades to come.

A Savage Classic in a Limited Edition
Even if you can remember back to 1958, here’s a piece of trivia you
may not know. The top TV shows that year were Gunsmoke, Wagon Train,
Have Gun Will Travel and The Rifleman. Savage introduced its Model
110 in 1958 but, unlike those TV Westerns, it’s still around. In fact, we’re
celebrating the 50th anniversary of this classic with a limited edition.
Only 1,000 rifles will be produced.
The Model 110 50th Anniversary is a classically styled short action
model and the first ever Savage bolt-action rifle chambered in 300 Savage.
This special edition features a high luster blued barreled action and a
high-grade hinged floorplate with 24-karat gold plating and etch block
scroll pattern on both sides of the receiver. Other luxury details include
24-karat gold plated double barrel bands, 24-karat gold plated trigger
and Savage embossed recoil pad. The semi-fancy American walnut stock
has a unique classic checkering pattern and shadow line cheekpiece.
The Savage Model 110 is 50 years old and going strong. In fact, the Savage
Model 110 was the first bolt-action rifle to be offered in a left hand

All Savage rifles with the new AccuTrigger™ feature a newly
designed teardrop 3-position
safety that provides better acquisition of the safety button
and operates smoother and quieter. The Varminter bolt

Savage’s Varmint/Predator series. It brings a whole
new element of accuracy and concealability for
dispatching predators and other game. The Predator
Hunter features a 22 inch medium contour
barrel, synthetic stock with rounded forend and
oversized bolt handle. The entire stock, barreled
action, trigger guard and bolt handle feature
a Mossy Oak Brush pattern camo to help

Our Classic Series includes three models, each one subtly different from

comb and cheekpiece, and a hinged floorplate. The Euro Classic features

traditional oil finish. The American Classic has a satin lacquer finish and

Designed by Savage, the new Hunter’s Edge Fixed Blade is a multiplepurpose knife that offers a drop-point blade, a gut-hook, and a saw

Italian Craftsmanship, Enduring Quality
Italian craftsmanship is legendary, and that is why we went to the
famed Brescia Valley of Northern Italy to build Savage’s new Milano
shotgun. The Milano is crafted by skilled artisans from the finest
materials, including Turkish walnut stock and a jeweled monoblock.
The stock and forend feature a tasteful satin lacquer finish with laser
engraved checkering. A barrel selector switch is incorporated into the
tang mounted safety. The Milano also comes with removable choke
tubes in the 12, 20 and 28 gauges, as well as a gold plated, single
selective mechanical trigger.
In any configuration, the Milano is built to provide superior handling
and perfect weight distribution – the result of receivers which are
precisely scaled to their gauge. Standard features include automatic
ejectors, chrome lined barrels, fiber optic front sight and a brass
mid-rib bead. When handsome elegance is what you’re looking for,
look no further than the Savage Milano.
