Early Intervention Teachers and
Offerings Learn at the University
Dhyana Pura in Kuta, Bali
With the coordination of Joice Pajow, who directs
Kindergarten to High School education programs,
the Kalam Kudus Foundation Bali, and the University
Dhyana Pura, Offerings was able to connect to over 70
early intervention & kindergarten teachers and begin
to help them understand the characteristics, causes and
supports for young children with Downs Syndrome,
ADHD and Autism.
Yayasan Peduli Kemausian under the direction of
Wahuni Adhityawati (Program Coordinator ) and with
the help of the Annika Linden, welcomed Offerings for
its 2nd centered based collaboration, where 8 nonprofits
working with disabilities came together to share & learn.

Offerings was invited by YKII, Indonesian Special Family Foundation, to Bogor, Java to work with over 50 professionals
working with or interested in working with children and adults with Autism. Executive Director, Karen Kaplan presented
a day long workshop on building capacity. Day two of the workshop focused on how parents and professionals could teach
special needs students lead heathy & safe lives. Approximately 50 participants engaged in discussions.

“Hops 4 Hope” Offerings Spring
Fundraiser
Hops 4 Hope brought friends together to enjoy local
home crafted brews by Poplar, Euphemia, Gone Boating
and Artisan as well as Marin’s amazing Anchor Brewing,
Marin Brew Company and Lagunitas Brewing Company.
Each brew was paired with yummy tapas from Toast of

OFFERINGS in the Bay Area
After an amazing 2013-2014 lecture series and Resource
Fair, Offerings heads into its 6th season of bringing
resources and information to the North Bay Area.
Dr. David Traver, Fellow of the American Academy
of Pediatrics will discuss Bio Medical approaches to
Autism. Board Certified Neurologic Music Therapist,
Ian F Wilkerson will present strategies for enriching
the lives of children and adults with special needs. Liz
McDonough, Marriage, family therapist and Drama
therapist will complete 2014 addressing ways to support
the social-emotional challenges of adolescence and
young adulthood.
