2015 GREAT BRUSH OFF!
Dear Great Brush Off 2015 Participants,
Thank you so much for attending the Cahoon Museum of American
Art’s 25th Annual Great Brush Off. With your support this is our most
successful fundraiser every year.
I want again to thank our phenomenal Great Brush Off Committee
who has done an incredible job organizing a difficult event. Please thank
Len Carter (chair), Joan Augustino, Terri Goldstein, Agnes Maloney and
Christy Laidlaw. Without them, we could not attempt to stage such an
incredible event.
Our sponsors are just outstanding and we appreciate their support year
after year: Grover Custom Building, Steven McElheny Builders, Inc.,
Archi-Tech Associates, J Miller Pictureframer, Cotuit Market and Polar
Cave Ice Cream.
I have had such a great time looking at the wonderful art work that has
come in for both the silent and live auctions. We are very lucky to be in
a place where the artists are so talented and so committed to the Cahoon
Museum of American Art.
Because this event is an important fundraiser for us, please encourage
your family and friends to bid on both silent and live auction works. We
have incredible works of art for sale and they will be beautiful additions
in your home.
I hope you will have a chance to stop by our temporary location and
view the outstanding exhibition: Before & After: 25th Anniversary Great
Brush Off Exhibition through August 23rd. Come join us and share all
the wonderful memories of the last 25 years.
I am sure you have seen the great progress on the renovation and
addition of the current building. We are all so thrilled that our structure
will be a reality and we will be able to offer bigger and betters programs
and services.
After you attend the event, please let me know if you have suggestions
about how to improve it for next year. I can be reached at either 508 4287581 or [email protected].
Take care,
Richard Waterhouse
