COMMUNITY SING
LIVE IN
CONCERT
Presented by Citizens Insurance
The Larry Callahan and
Selected of God Choir
will lead the sing at
approximately 7:20 pm
just prior to the State
Christmas Tree Lighting at
Michigan and Capitol Aves.
Sing-a-long with the choir
to Silver Bells in the City
and Joy to the World.
8:00–9:00 pm—Capitol Steps
AJR, the band of three brothers—Adam, Ryan and Jack—may be the
first independent, DIY pop group from New York to make a splash,
and they’ve done so by writing, recording and producing all their
own songs in their Chelsea living room. The band combines music
from the ’50s and ’60s with more modern music giving them a sound
that’s both electric and folksy.
COMMEMORATIVE ORNAMENT
SILVER BELLS
City sidewalks, busy sidewalks.
Dressed in holiday style
In the air
There’s a feeling of Christmas
Children laughing
People passing
Meeting smile after smile
And on every street corner
You’ll hear
(Chorus)
Silver bells, silver bells
It’s Christmas time in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them sing
Soon it will be Christmas day
Strings of street lights
Even stop lights
Blink a bright red and green
As the shoppers rush
Home with their treasures
Hear the snow crunch
See the kids bunch
This is Santa’s big scene
And above all this bustle
You’ll hear
(Repeat Chorus)
$20
Each ornament is hand-made
by local artist Tiffany Klein. Order
online at silverbellsinthecity.org or
purchase the night of the event at the
Silver Bells Village or La Fille Gallery,
336 E. Michigan Ave.
