to the future.
Audi stands for “Vorsprung durch Technik”. This refers not only to our cars, but also to
everything else that bears our name. All our products are athletic, cutting-edge and always
of the highest quality. Or to put it simply: unmistakably Audi – a true embodiment of the
spirit of the brand.
Accessories are nowadays an essential part of every brand philosophy. Not least at Audi,
where both potential and existing clients feel a strong identification with the brand and enjoy
expressing their commitment though accessories, thus securing an important place for
Audi accessories in their everyday lives.
Audi accessories follow the same rules as the Audi design language: clear lines, minimalist
execution and no unnecessary ornamentation. Everything about the product serves a purpose. The classic design adage “form follows function” is given precise expression in the
Audi Junior Runner, where just a few adjustments transform a training bike for children aged
between three and five years into a scooter. Meaning that this ingenious product can literally
“grow” with your child.
Tomorrow’s clients are exceptionally important to us, and so we have now set our sights on
developing Audi accessories in ecological/sustainable ways: by reducing our CO₂ footprint in
relation to products, manufacturing and logistics. This is done by using recyclable materials
which can be reintroduced into the production cycle, and by employing environmentally
friendly and sustainable production processes involving fewer chemicals, CO₂ emissions and
less water and energy usage. All this in cooperation with suppliers who are fully signed up to
achieving the same goals and for whom the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and Blue Sign certifications are integral to their everyday operation. In addition to this, we have a commitment to
using only certified organic cotton, for example in our baby romper suits and our new women’s handbag collection. What’s more, only leather tanned without the use of chromium is
used throughout the entire Audi collection.

We commemorate our successes in motor racing
with a Heritage collection.
In the early 1980s, Audi made unprecedented use of permanent all-wheel drive quattro®
in rallying – it was the dawn of a new era. The results speak for themselves: 23 WRC race
wins and four World Championships between 1981 and 1986. Walter Röhrl’s performance at
Pikes Peak in 1987 is also legendary. In his Audi Sport quattro S1, Röhrl won the “Race to
the clouds” in just 10 minutes and 47.85 seconds, thereby becoming the first ever driver to
complete the 20-kilometre uphill stretch in under 11 minutes.
