1. Roque the tiger
Roque (‘Rocky’) was a tiny cub when
taken from his mother and put on sale in a
Spanish pet-shop. We rescued the scared
cub and today this magnificent tiger lives
in a jungle enclosure at our sanctuary in
India. He’ll always rely on us. So please
help provide his daily food and care.

2. Achee & Ma Juah the lionesses
We rescued Achee from a snowy
car-park in Romania and Ma Juah from a
concrete pit in Liberia. Both girls
‘wobble’ – poor early diets caused nerve
damage. But they’ve grown stronger at
our South African sanctuary, and become
firm friends. Adopt the girls and help
fund their food and care.
3. Shada the lioness
Shada revels in the freedom of her
enclosure at our sanctuary in South
Africa. For years she lived in a rusty cage
at a circus in France, gazing pitifully
through the bars. Now her life has been
transformed. Adopt this young lioness
and help provide her daily food and care.
4. Sinbad the little lion
Sinbad is beautiful and friendly, but half
the size of a normal lion! He was rescued
from a cramped and rusty cage in a
Romanian zoo. This little lion with a big
heart now has a new life at our sanctuary
in South Afria. Help ensure he gets the
food and loving care he needs.

5. Kuma the leopard
Handsome Kuma loves gazing across the
hills from his viewing platform at our
sanctuary in South Africa. But this
sweet-natured leopard had a sad start.
Kept in a small cage in a zoo in the Ivory
Coast, his brother died before we could
rescue him. Please help fund Kuma’s
daily food and care.
6. The leopard triplets
Stunning Alam, Sami and Nimira are
playful young leopards. The brothers and
sister were tiny cubs when found alone
in the Sudanese desert. They needed
bottle-feeding and special care, but now
flourish at our South African sanctuary.
Adopt the triplets and help fund their
food and care.
7. Menelik the cheetah
Menelik was a sickly baby when found
tied up by string in a shop in Ethiopia.
Luckily he was rescued and recovered at
our rescue centre. Affectionate Menelik
is a real handful! He purrs loudly and
like an overgrown kitten plays with
everything. Please, help fund his daily
food and care.

8. Emily Kate the African elephant
Emily Kate is a wild elephant, a young
member of the famous EB family. They
live in Amboseli National Park, Kenya.
Emily Kate is independent and feisty,
named by our patron Martin Clunes after
his own young daughter. Adopt Emily
Kate and help keep her safer from ivory
poachers.
9. Matilda the Asian elephant
Little Matilda lost her mother when just a
baby. Luckily she was rescued and
nursed back to health by Sri Lanka’s
Elephant Transit Home*. Too young to
survive alone, Matilda needs 40 pints of
milk each day! One day, when ready,
she’ll return to the wild. Help fund her
milk and care.

10. Mugaruka & Chimanuka the
gorillas
Magnificent Mugaruka and Chimanuka
are rare wild gorillas in DR Congo. Both
are massive, powerful ‘silverbacks’.
Gorillas are peaceful vegetarians living in
close-knit families. Poor Mugaruka lost a
hand in a deadly wire snare. Adopt our
gorillas and help keep them safe from
poachers.
11. Afrika the little chimp
Afrika was just a few months old when her
mother was killed by poachers. The
terrified baby was kept in a tiny cage, filthy
and starving. Luckily she was rescued and
has now recovered at a special sanctuary in
Uganda. Adopt little Afrika and help fund

12. The Sodata wolf pack
This family of wolves lives in Ethiopia’s
Bale Mountains. Only 500 Ethiopian
wolves survive – they’re more rare than
the giant panda! Led by an alpha male
and female, all pack members help care
for their six precious pups. Adopt these
beautiful red wolves and help ensure
their future.
13. Springer the young orca
Springer lost her mother when just a baby.
She was found disorientated, swimming
near Seattle, USA, too small to survive
alone. Luckily she was identified by her
unique calls and returned to her family
near Vancouver Island, Canada. Here she
now swims free. Adopt Springer and help
protect her.
14. The Green turtle family
Marine turtles are ancient! They’ve been
around since before dinosaurs, but are
now very rare. Gentle green turtles, the
only vegetarian species, are hunted for
eggs and meat, and used for turtle soup.
We’re protecting them in the waters off
Tanzania. Adopt this family and help us!
