Airmix® Review
Airmix® is different from Air Assisted Airless by
the method of incorporating the air into the fluid
p
pattern.
With Airmix®, the air is injected
before the p
point of atomization, it
results in a very stable fan and a
perfectly even film build.
With Air Assisted Airless systems,
the air is injected
j
into or beyond
y
the
point of atomization. It creates
turbulent air flows, more over spray
and reduced finish quality
quality.

Airmix® Review
Paint velocityy has a direct impact
p
on p
performance.
When the velocity is high, the over spray and bounce back is
increased. The result is lower transfer efficiency and a more
polluted environment
environment.
The particle speed with Airmix® is much lower than with other
atomization technologies

Performance Improvements
New fan reduction symbol
New fan width adjustment
The adjustment of the fan width
has been improved
2 ¼ turn knob instead of the ¾
turn knob on the MVX.
What is the improvement?
It allows for a finer fan
j
adjustment.
Paint savings
Width of the fan is adjusted to
fit the parts to be painted.
Time savings
No need to change the tip to
adjust the pattern size.

Why Buy the XciteTM Gun?
Highest finish quality
Airmix® creates a uniform pattern whereas Air Assisted Airless has a turbulent uneven
pattern.
Highest transfer efficiency
Airmix® has a lower p
particle velocity
y and less turbulence than other spray
p y
technologies.
Lowest energy consumption
With Airmix® less air is needed, just 1.7 CFM, than with other spray technologies.
Hi h application
li ti efficiency
ffi i
Higher
With Airmix® more coating can be applied without defects than with other spray
technologies.
Ergonomic design
The XciteTM gun is optimally balanced, less weight, and with a more comfortable feel,
leading to less spray operator fatigue.
Delivers extremely fast payback
With more material being applied to the part, using less air, have less to clean up, and
lower solvent emissions, the XciteTM gun will pay for itself.
