July - HeartReach Center
My husband is retiring from the military after twenty-five years of service. He has accepted a “civilian” position in Arizona so July 31 will be my last day at HeartReach. It is with gratitude to our Lord to announce Joyce Moropoulos will be the new Executive Director at HeartReach effective August 1, 2012. During the next month, I will be working with Joyce to seek a transparent transition at the center. It is wonderful to see how the Lord prepares people who are willing to serve Him. Joyce has been volunteering at HeartReach for five years as a Client Advocate and as an Embracing Parenthood Mentor. She is a Pastor at Gateway Christian Fellowship, has a BA in Biblical Studies, with minors in Cross-cultural Communications and Early Childhood Education. Business-wise she has been a co-owner of Sophia’s Café for about eight years. I have been truly blessed by serving our Lord at HeartReach. It is of only from Him working through the staff, volunteers, and financial supporters that HeartReach impacts lives. I am grateful to God for the peace of knowing HeartReach will continue as a place serving Him deeply by reaching out to those in need within the valley, both for the life of the unborn as well as eternal life.
