Order confirmation
You will receive an automatic email confirming we have received your order.
This email will contain the main information for your order (order number, student’s name and a summary of your
order).
Please note: This is not a payment receipt.
If you choose to pay online (PayPal, credit card or debit card), you will receive a payment confirmation from PayPal
stating the amount you have paid to S & H Investments Pty Ltd.
If you choose to pay via Electronic Funds Transfer, please upload a copy of your receipt online or send it to
[email protected] and you will receive a confirmation from Stott Hoare Accounts
Department (please note: this confirmation could take up to 5 days to be received).
Delivery
Location: Your device and accessories will be delivered to Ursula Frayne Catholic College.
Date: Orders submitted during bulk order periods will be delivered within 6 weeks after each bulk order period.*
The delivery date for ad-hoc orders will be confirmed by the Stott Hoare Education Team.

When you call or send a service request, please ensure that you have the following details:
>> Your name
>> Name of the school
>> Contact number
>> Email address
>> Device make and model
>> Device serial number
>> A description of the problem (please include any error messages, screen shots, etc.)
>> A list of any recent events, changes or updates that may have caused the issue
>> Any other relevant information
Stott Hoare Service Desk staff will provide you with a support reference number.
Take your device to the school
Before taking your device to be repaired, please make sure you:
- Backup your data
- Take note of your support reference number
- Put the support reference number together with your device
Stott Hoare will collect and repair* the device.
You will be notified when your device is ready to be collected from school.
*Damages not covered under manufacturer warranty will be chargeable . Stott Hoare will notify you if the issue cannot be repaired
under warranty. Devices with non-warranty repairs required will be returned to the school unrepaired unless full payment
is received prior to commencement of work.

Pre-support checklist
Before requesting support services, it’s important to try a few simple things that might resolve the issue:
>> Power down and then restart your device
Most problems are resolved by simply shutting down and then restarting the device
>> Check all cables and connections
Make sure connections are seated correctly.
Power everything down, take out any cables and then put them back in before rebooting.
>> Perform simple troubleshooting
For example, if you have a power or battery issue then... Is the power cable in? Is the plug socket on? Can you test on
a different socket? Do you have another cable you can test with?
If you have checked all the above and the issue has not been resolved, please refer to our Support Services Request
document and contact Stott Hoare Service Desk Team.

What is the password to access the online order portal?
The password for online orders is: ursula
Can I order more than one device through the same online order form?
No. In order to help us track individual student orders, you can only order one device (and respective accessories)
per form.
Once I’ve sent the order through the portal, will I receive a confirmation?
Yes. Once you have submitted an online order, you will receive an automatic e-mail confirming the order submission. Please note: this confirmation e-mail does not include a payment confirmation.
If you pay online via credit, debit card or PayPal, you will receive a second e-mail from PayPal confirming the payment has been accepted.
If you pay via EFT, our Accounts Department will send you a payment confirmation e-mail once we’ve verified the
transfer.
I didn’t receive any confirmation via e-mail, what do I do?
If you have completed an online order and haven’t received any confirmation e-mail within 1 hour of purchase,
please send an e-mail to [email protected] and include the student name, parent/buyer’s name and
data of purchase (if known). Please use the following subject line: “Purchase confirmation”.
Is it safe to pay online? Will Stott Hoare store my credit card details?
All online transactions are handled by PayPal. Stott Hoare won’t store your credit card details unless requested by the
credit card holder.
I do not have a PayPal account, can I still pay online?
Yes. PayPal is just the institution we chose to handle our online transactions. Payments by credit or debit cards are
accepted through the PayPal page – You do not need to create a PayPal account to complete your transaction.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a copy of my EFT receipt?
Depending on the bank you have chosen to use, a pdf receipt might be available for download after you complete
the transaction. Otherwise you can send us a screen shot or a picture of the payment receipt which will appear in
your transactions history.
I’ve submitted an order via the portal but I did not complete the payment, will my child still receive the equipment I ordered?
No. If you do not complete the online payment, you will be required to complete an EFT transaction which will be
verified within 5 days. Once the payment has been confirmed, your order will be processed. If payment has been
refused for any reason, your order will be cancelled.
What is the deadline for ordering devices?
The first round of bulk orders will be between 4 November 2014 until 17 November 2014.
The second round of bulk orders will be between 1 December 2014 until 15 December 2014.
The online ordering portal will open for ad-hoc purchases from 22 December 2014.
When will my equipment be delivered?
We aim to deliver your equipment within 6 weeks after each bulk order period.*
Where will my equipment be delivered?
All devices and accessories will be delivered to Ursula Frayne Catholic College.
Can I still order after the deadline?
Yes. There will be another opportunity to order devices (ad-hoc) after 22 December 2014.
How long will my device be covered by warranty?
The warranty for your device will last for 3 years (from purchase date).

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Warranty Repair?
Warranty Repair covers defects in the device that are from the manufacturer. They are considered as defects in the
machine such as faults from the factory, failed parts and product recalls. The manufacturer will replace parts at their
cost. They do not include damages and faults caused by accidents or general “wear and tear.”
Is the device insured?
The device is not insured by Stott Hoare. We recommend that you add the device to your home insurance policy.
Also, if you have financed or leased the device then you should check if there is insurance included in the contract.
What happens if I accidentally drop, spill liquid or damage my device?
Stott Hoare can arrange repair of your device although accidental damage is not covered under warranty and the
repair is therefore chargeable. If your device is insured then you should contact your insurance company as they will
advise on how to get the device repaired.
